The Battle With a New Enemy and Event Chapter 6

--------Toshiro's POV--------

When Kisuke told us that Ichigo is finally awake, I didn't hesitate. I picked up Karin, and we headed to Urahara's shop. I didn't want Karin to strain herself.

When we reached the shop, Karin ran inside to find Ichigo. "Ichigo!" I heard her scream. I decided that I need to give her some time to talk Ichigo alone.

--------Karin's POV--------

When we arrived at Urahara's, Toshiro put me down and I ran toward Ichigo. "Ichigo!" I screamed as I entered the room where he was located.

He turned his head so could see me. "Karin!" he screamed as he saw me. Then he jumped up and engulfed me in a hug.

When we finished hugging, he asked me, "Are you and my niece OK?" I nodded in a funny way. Ichigo and Toshiro worry about me ten times more now that I am pregnant.

"Don't worry Ichigo. Toshiro is protecting me like I am a precious gem," I told him. That made Ichigo laugh.

"OK, is there anything new going on with you as of late?" He asked me.

"Yeah. This morning before Toshiro got back from his mission, she kicked her little foot," I said to him. Right after I said that, he hugged me super tight.

When Ichigo finally let go of me, I said, "Toshiro and I also thought of a name for her." He leaned in closer, really wanting to hear the name. "I came up with the name Matsuo Hitsugaya."

After hearing the name, Ichigo looked out into space as if he was trying to figure something out. "So, you decided to call your daughter tail of a pine tree, eh?" he asked me. I nodded my head in response to his question.

"Well as long as you and Toshiro are happy with the name, I won't judge," Ichigo said to me. I was relieved, At least Ichigo isn't going to scream at him for choosing a weird name. I could have been yelled at like when Ichigo found out that Toshiro and I were getting married.

Just then, I became a little light headed, and I fell to the ground. Ichigo sprang into action, and was by my side in less than thirty seconds. "Are you OK, Karin? Are you both OK?" he asked me. As usual, he was playing the overprotective brother.

"Yeah, Ichigo. We are both fine. Don't worry," I said to him as I stood back up.

As if on cue, Toshiro burst through the door. "What happened in here!?" he asked me with worry in voice.

I went to him and put my arms around him as I told him what happened, "Nothing happened really. I got a little light headed, that's all."

Toshiro got really worried at that moment. "You got a little what!?" he asked as if he wanted some clarification.

"It is fine. All that happened was I got a little dizzy and fell. No biggie," I told him. Then I placed a nice kiss on his cheek.

"Karin! It is not nothing! You could have hurt yourself!" he screamed at me. I knew he was just worried, but he acted like I fell out of a two story window. "I want you to go lie down, right now. I don't want you to get hurt."

I didn't want him to worry any more, so I went and lie down on the couch that Kisuke set up a couple of months ago for me. Just in case it took a while for Toshiro to reach Urahara's.

--------Toshiro's POV--------

I didn't mean to scream at Karin, but I worried that she would hurt her or Matsuo.

About five minutes after I had her go lie down, I heard her scream for dear life.

When I reached her side, she was clutching her stomach in pain. That caused tears to flow out of my eyes, seeing her in so much pain.
