Dammed Not

Adolescent is what they are
Eyes bare
With no care
Perforated into the world thronged
With slithering serpents

With fresh hopes and trances
Destined together by stars
Is what they are

In spite of pandemonium around them
They.., unearthed happiness
Of their own
Years passed like a blur
With only few days to spare
To face the future of their own
Parting from their world of bliss
They engendered

They thought, they had been dammed
To a gruesome milieu
Poor souls didn't know
It wasn't a curse all along.
