"Are you alone?" Tae asked looking around the living room.

"Whyyy?" I ask suspiciously.

"Hey don't look at me like that! I just figured you'd have company since it's a bit late." He placed the food on the coffee table.

I gesture for him to take a seat. "Well my Mom's upstairs sleeping, my Dad... well I don't know where he might be at the moment." I shrug as I take a seat on the couch opposite him.

"Sorry if I showed up un announce. I just really wanted to say sorry." He straightened his back all of a sudden and looked at me with the most sincere face he can produce. "Maggie, I'm sorry. I was drunk and well, I'm not really myself when I'm drunk."

I smiled at him. Really it was not a big deal. It's not like we fucked or something. It was just a quick peck on the lips. "I said don't worry about it. I know you were too drunk that night."

His eyes were still on me even when we both stopped talking.

I feel awkward. "Oh wow pizza!" I say a bit belatedly and opened the box on the table. Pepperoni. "How did you know what I like?"

"Just a hunch". He smiled at me as he sat on the floor and grabbed a slice too.

"Don't you have classes tomorrow or something?" I asked giving him a suspicious look. Taehyung, along with Jimin is on their last year at the university.

"Naah, I only got a minor subject tomorrow and class won't start until 2 in the afternoon. "

I see. I thought to myself. I don't really have anything else to say. Taehyung's one of my friends, yeah. But I never really got to hang out with him alone. Nor the other guys. It was just always with Yoongi.

And as if he was reading my mind, Tae asked "So how are things with you and Yoongi hyung?"

"Huh?" I was a bit surprised by his question. "What do you mean how are things with us? It's pretty much the same."

"Not with him,no. Not since you guys got back from your trip. It seems like something's changed but I can't really put my finger on it". He said thoughtlessly while trying to swallow a big slice of pizza.

I got intrigued and I urged him to go on. I sat next to him on the floor and ever so gently put my hand on his shoulder. "Change how?" I ask.

His eyes got a bit wide when he notice how close my face was to him. He cleared his throat "Well uhm, I dunno the obvious things. Like how you guys aren't hanging out that much anymore. And I overheard the guys the last time how you two are a bit awkward with each other. Like something happened..." he paused. "Did, did something happen between you two? Did one of you suddenly confess and got rejected?"

"What?" I could not believe what I'm hearing. "Do you guys talk about us when we're not around? And what's that supposed to mean? No one confessed anything." I stand up and return to sit on the couch.

"Really? Nothing happened? But we were all hoping one of you would give in".

I gave him a confused look.

"C'mon Maggie, we've all known each other for a while and we're not blind to see that you guys have feelings for each other. It's just a matter of time before one of you cracks".

Tae closed my mouth that was hanging open. I pushed his hand away slightly annoyed. "That's not true." I cross my hands over my chest.

"You're in denial". Taehyung stated matter of factly.

"We're just friends".

"I think you're just afraid of rejection".

"Well I think you're annoying!" I said indignantly.

"Hehe. Don't take this personally but I'm just stating what I see. Both of you are too dense to see the obvious."

"You don't know what you're talking about. Yoongi doesn't feel that way towards me."

"How so?" Taehyung challenged.

"I just know so!"

"Well care to enlighten me why he's still pissed at me? The guys told me Yoongi wasn't really his usual self last week. And he wasn't happy how I was clinging to you the entire evening. And when I kis...-" Taehyung stopped abruptly a tinge of pink on his cheeks.

I looked at him and I too feel my cheeks hot.

"Well, anyway... he was jealous and angry is what I wanted to say." Taehyung continued.

"He told me he got mad not because of jealousy Tae, he just doesn't want us to be involved in any way since you're such a player".

Taehyung laughed a bit too loud with my last comment. "Me? A player? Tell me, who did you see me with that I didn't take seriously? I may be foolish and playful with my actions most of the time but I ain't a player".

"Well, whatever. Bottom line is, Yoongi doesn't feel that way, okay? end of discussion".

Taehyung put his hands in the air as a sign of defeat. "I give up. Both of you are dense and hopeless. No wonder this situation you guys are in have dragged on this long". He was getting ready to leave and I stand up right away wanting to escort him out of my house immediately.

"Piece of advice..." Tae turned to look at me before opening the door, "better decide on what you want before it's too late. You wouldn't want to see him in someone else's arms right?"

"Out!" I pushed him out the door. And, I quickly added my thanks for the pizza before shutting the door on his face.

Taehyung snickered. "Hehe. Sleep tight Maggie, I'll see you around."

I walk back up to my room after I place the remaining food in the fridge. I still could not shake my disbelief that all this time, the guys can see right thru me. Was I that obvious? I plop myself on the bed and grab my phone. I see two text messages. I open the first one and it's another goodnight text from Tae.

The second one is from Yoongi. You up? Can't sleep. It was sent an hour ago. I figure he's now asleep.

I lay in bed thinking about what Tae said.

You wouldn't want to see him in someone else's arms right ? I close my eyes and think about the memory of Yoongi's lips on someone else's.

I think you're just afraid of rejection. I repeat Taehyung's words in my head. Am I?

I let out a heavy sigh. I stared at my phone looking at Yoongi's picture,
Yah! They know. They all know. Tae said they can see right thru me from the start.

But... Why can't you?
