Jugheads POV
We all walk to school together, except for the fact that Archie has been out of it. Betty is still in my grip as I'm in hers, she keeps looking up at me and I look ahead so she doesn't realise I know, I really do love Betty and I know everyone thinks she's falling for Archie I can't help but think it's me. Just thinking about us being a real couple makes me feel so happy and giddy but then again I don't know her feeling towards me or Archie.
We walk into the school hall ways and all gaze is on us, I mean Betty, the way she looks and her hair. We walk into school like this all the time so it's not that fact we are so close but it's just how extraordinary she looks, I look down at her, she may be one of the most popular people in school doesn't mean she isn't shy and she hates when all attention is on herself, I move my hand down to her waist, which causes her to look at me, it was kind of our signal, she looks up and smiles saying "I'm fine jug, really no need to worry yourself" I know her anxiety really strikes at moments like this, I look into her eyes and see if she really is and it seems that way, so I take her hand and pull her along to our lockers which our next to each other.

Betty's POV
He was being all protective this morning, it was cute, I take off my jacket and place it in my locker, I grab my books as jug does the same. I turn around and face him, he looks at me up and down stopping and my shirt i look down thinking there was a stain or something but there's not "what" I call at him
"That's my shirt you idiot" he looks a little stunned but I have worn his stuff before.
"Oh yeah, no wonder it didn't look familiar" I smiled hopping he would say I can keep it, it smells of him and it's so cozy.
"Keep it, I know you want to" he smiles now and I go a little pink in the cheeks. The school bell rings meaning its class, first period is with jug in French, he only took it because he loves french food, I only took it because it has the city of love and romance Paris, it's my dream to go there, in fact me and jug are saving for it. I grown and I have to miss it and give the new girl a tour, I grab jugheads hand and pull him along to the heads office where our receptionist is with Veronica.
"Be nice, okay" I say to jug looking deep into his eyes
"I will try, but Jones and lodges have mad blood"
"Yeah but she might be different"
He looks down at me and huffs "fine, copper but I'm only doing this for you" I look down then up as he says it I squeeze his hand and turn on my heels and open the door to find them both looking at me.
"Here she is, Veronica this is Betty" miss gold says pushing her glasses up to the top of her nose hellos are given and I take Veronica away from miss for the tour. I close the door and turn to see jug staring at Veronica.
"Be nice jughead... Veronica this is jughead my.."
"Boyfriend" she finishes
"No best friend" I smile and notice that it does look like where a couple his arm around me and mine around his waist as he is far too tall for me.
"Oh... so where do we start" also feel free to give me a nickname I hate Veronica" she finishes once again.
"Okay then, where take you around each department of the school" starting with languages which is next to us learning she speaks Spanish and Brazilian. We keep walking until bell rings, jug turns to me kisses on the top of my head saying "got to head to class, see you at lunch, nice meeting you Ron" I hug him and say bye. Ronnie links her arm in mine and says "god you make the perfect couple, why aren't you together"
I laugh a little and say "no, we never talk about it and yeah I love him and I know he love me I just never really knew where we are in a relationship and he hates all the so called popular kids, so I never pushed him to join"
"Wow complicated, I have much too learn" Ronnie giggles back.
"I heard you know Archie Andrews" I say
"Yeah I meet him yesterday at pops, he gave me his number and we've been texting ever since" she replies all giddy
"You really like him don't you" I feel happy now everyone can get off my back about liking him which i don't
"Yeah I think I do" V smiles to herself like the way I do about jug so I know it's real.
