He was trapped.
Thomas Carter knew that this day would finally come. If only he had heeded his family and friends' warnings, these could all have been avoided. But now he was facing a more difficult task, as he knows that it is necessary that he must do it or else trouble may continue to arise.
He needed to kill her.
At least that's what the other half of him thought. The other half was hesitating because he wasn't sure if he was ready. He wasn't sure if he was ready to kill his wife.
His coworkers warned him that bringing a dead person back to life would come with consequences. But Thomas didn't listen, and he didn't care. All he wanted was to see his beloved wife Lisa again. Just seeing her alive was enough for him. He wanted things to be back the way they used to be, as if the accident never happened. But it did happen. And because of that accident he lost his beloved wife. At first he pretended to be strong, just for the sake of their son & daughter. Unfortunately all strong men eventually have their own weakness, and his weakness was Lisa. He loved her so much that he refused to have her body buried. He just couldn't bare parting with it. It was too much for him.
That's when he suddenly came up with an idea. An idea that would have grave consequences, but he was oblivious to it at first. When he was given warnings by his co workers he just simply ignored them. In his own little mind, he knows that what he's going to do was the right thing to do.
But that was all in the past. And now Thomas must face the consequences of his actions.
Taking a deep breath, he took out his knife. And as he walked forward he slowly muttered "I'm sorry but I have to do this. I love you so much. Please forgive me."
And suddenly, there was silence...
