I instantly felt heat rush to my cheeks when I realized I had also been caught staring. A huge smile spread across his face and a small dimple appeared on his cheek.

"Hi." , I said nervously. "Hi, so what would you girls like?",he asked. After staring at him in confusion for a moment, I realized I was still standing in line at Smoothie King with Bailey. "O-Oh y-yeah, r-right", I stuttered. Bailey was obviously trying not to laugh because I never ever stutter. "Um, I'll have a Strawberry Smoothie with a bowl fruit on the side please," I said with a smile that I hoped wasn't too big.

He chuckled lightly and asked Bailey what she would like. " Strawberry smoothie" she said flipping her blonde hair and winking at him. I instantly felt jealousy rise up inside of me. He didn't even seem to notice her. He was still starring at me.

"Your total is $5.06." He said. I grabbed our tray of food and then handed him a $10 bill. "Keep the change," I said with an even bigger smile. "Oh no, here I couldn't do that." He said trying to give me my change back. "Keep it, I said, " I think I can live knowing I gave a cute guy a ten dollar bill."

Bailey gasped with her mouth wide open, she was clearly shocked I even talked to the guy, but even more shocked that I flirted with him. Ever since the accident I haven't talked to a single guy other than Bailey's older brother, Max.

He smiled and started to say something when Bailey grabbed my arm and started pulling me away from the cash register. With Bailey pulling on my arm I was half walking/being dragged to a booth on the other side of the shop. But before I was out of his sight, he smiled that big smile of his and winked at me.

"What?" I asked noticing Bailey staring at me from her side of our booth. She didn't say anything, she just sat their and smirked at me. "Is there something on my face?" I asked instinctively touching my cheeks. "No, no it's not that. It's just I don't think I've seen you smile like that in a long long time is all.", she said lowly. "Oh," I laughed, " I guess it has been a while."

She smiled and looked away clearly not wanting to verge forward into the direction the subject was heading to. We sat I silence for a moment and I could tell she was doing the same as me; thinking about the accident. Before I could say anything Bailey got up and threw our trash away and motioned towards the exit.
