"The cashier keeps on staring at you," she told him. Jungkook averted his gaze to her and smirked.

"And? Don't tell me you're jealous?" he teased when they exited the convenience store.

Yein stopped and hit him on the head. Jungkook winced and scowled at her. She just smirked and proceeded on walking.

"I'm not jealous I mean why would I?"

"I don't know. Maybe because I'm handsome?" he said with a wink. She stopped once again and hit him on the same spot.

"Ow! What the fuck is wrong with you, woman?!" Jungkook swore his head would break.

Yein just smiled at him sweetly and opened a bottle of soju. She drank it and looked at the night sky.

"You know, the stars are surprisingly shining tonight. How ironic," she told him.

Jungkook just ignored her, still annoyed because of what she did. Yein turned her head to look at him and saw him walking behind her slowly with a plastic bag in his hand. She smiled, knowing that he's probably still sulking. She looked forward and just let him be. They walked in silence, casually drinking soju. Their thoughts consumed them as they blankly looked straight ahead.

Yein stopped walking when she realized something. She turned her head with wide eyes filled with panic.

"Hey! My car!" she told him, panic obvious in her voice.

Jungkook just looked at her blankly and walked pass her. Yein grabbed his arm and glared at him.

"I SAID WE LEFT MY CAR AT THE SOJU PLACE! NOW WE SHOULD GO BACK BECAUSE MY MOM WILL KI-" her shouting stopped when he placed his hand on her mouth.

She glared at him, hard. He got scared for a second, but proceeded to what he was doing.

"I also left my car there. We can get it tomorrow," he calmly told her.

But before he could retract his hand, she bit it. Once again, he winced and scowled at her. Yein smirked triumphantly.

"That's disgusting. Are you sure you're a girl?"

She scoffed. "Why, do you want me to strip and let you see what other girls have?" she responded sarcastically.

Jungkook blushed and glared at her.

"You're disgusting," he told her, disgust lacing in his voice. She just scoffed and walked away.

But, in his mind, it's the opposite. Although she doesn't act like a real lady sometimes, he knew that she's a lady—a woman in his eyes. A beautiful and fierce woman, he thought with a smile.

"What are you smiling at? You look like a creep smiling like that," she told him.

Jungkook's smile widen. She stared at him, dumbfounded.

Okay, his smile is pretty. Can he stop now?

"It's just that the stars are smiling, might as well just smile," he said, still smiling while walking towards her.

Yein just nodded and looked at the night sky. Jungkook copied her while gulping soju.

"You're right. Although I don't want to agree with you, you're right. The stars really are smiling. It's realy ironic to what I'm feeling," she said, eyes still up.

Jungkook stared at her. His breath hitched on how beautiful she is looking at the night sky. Yein felt his eyes on her, causing her palms to sweat. She wanted stare right back at him, but she's afraid and she didn't know why. She just focused on the stars until she couldn't handle it anymore.

"I know this is an overused phrase, but I'm gonna use it anyway. Staring is rude, dude," she told him befor staring right back at him.

She tried to ignore the butterflies erupting in her stomach and smiled teasingly at him. Jungkook snapped back to reality and shook his head.

"W-what?" he stuttered out. She chuckled.

"I said staring is rude."

He scoffed. "I-I'm not staring at you," he once again stuttered, which led to Yein laughing.

"Sure, you're not staring," she said sarcastically. He rolled his eyes.

"I wasn't staring at you," he defensed. Yein just smirked.

"Okay, denial boy."
