Anyhow, today's the day. You wait impatiently in your caves, perched in your trees, and even in the Cornucopia. Where is the arena event? What horrors will fall upon you today?
Prepare yourselves tributes, because each day, there will be a lot of deaths.

Carnivorous plants emerge from the ground and begin to attack the tributes.
Marley, Della, Sam and Francesca work together to kill the plants.
Lola slices the head off a Venus flytrap.
Corina is grabbed by a vine, but Farrah cuts it away.
Erin is strangled to death by a vine.
Philip uses a dead plant's spike as a weapon against the other tributes.
Reese, Bella and Daisy defend one another from poisonous weeds.
Gus is grabbed by a vine, but Raven cuts it away.
Amara is swallowed whole by a pitcher plant.
Christina survives.
Josh survives.
Ashton survives.
A plant spits acid at Abi, but Morgan sacrifices herself by leaping in front of it.
Clove shoots the plants that try and grab her with a bow.
Jade survives.
Bri survives.
Finlee slowly dies after being cut by a plant's poisoned spike.
Spruce survives.
Lie kills as many plants as she can before running to safety.
Alicia pushes Annie down for the plants to eat, but Annie cuts Alicia, and they are both eaten.
Bonnie is stabbed through the heart with a poisoned spike.
White survives.
Maria survives.
Letha survives.
Valentina tries to fend off the plants, but she is unable to fight them all and dies.
Andi and Layla work together to disable poisonous weeds.
Cait is swallowed by a pitcher plant.
And that, tributes, was your first arena event. 9 tributes have died, and most of the others came close to dying as well.

Note: All three of the tributes from District 6 have died today, leaving them out of the Games, at least until the Wild Card gives them a chance . . . . .
There are 27 tributes remaining to compete for the victor's crown tomorrow . . . will you move on?
