CHAPITRE CINQ: finding sejeong

"are you 100% sure that there's no other sejeong besides my second cousin?"

"yes chanyeol, there's no other sejeong." suho irritatedly replied to chanyeol, who ran his hand through his hair in restlessness. he was trying to find the girl who ran away from him that night.

he didn't know why, he just wanted to see her again, for fun?

chanyeol was bugging suho to find another sejeong through the student files in one of their school's laptops. it was no use. 

after the halloween night, deep down, chanyeol was actually secretly saddened that sejeong ran away from him. he kept staring at the ceiling, wondering if it was something he said. was he that bad? was that call just an excuse to run away from him. chanyeol kept trying to find her, asking people if they new a sejeong. he would describe her features, but he could only say she was quite pretty. 

"SUHO COME ON." chanyeol suddenly whined, losing patience.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT."

"USE YOUR FUCKING MAGIC TO FIND HER OR SOMETHING." chanyeol pleaded, trying to act cute to make suho suddenly find her.

"WHAT MAGIC ARE YOU ON ABOUT? SHES JUST NOT IN OUR SCHOOL OKAY?" suho yelled at chanyeol back, suho just wanted to sleep at this point.

"FINE THEN! YOU WERE BORING ANYWAY!" chanyeol rolled his eyes and folded his sleeves up. another day with zero progress or clues to find where or who 'sejeong' is. he stood up and walked out the door, it was time for him to eat, anyway.

it just felt weird to him, why would she just have to suddenly run away from him?

chanyeol tried snapping out of his unusual throbbing thought, making his way to his lunch table that his sits at every school day. sitting there were his friends, sehun and kai. it was always just the three of them, they had close to zero problems and there was never a fight or argument that they couldnt solve quickly. sehun quickly saw the look in chanyeol's face and understood. there was no need for explanation.

"still trying to look for that girl?" sehun sighed, softly gesturing for chanyeol to take the seat beside him. chanyeol obliged and sat down.

"yeah. i asked suho to check in the student files too. no use." chanyeol said, obviously downcast.

"yo, what's so special about her anyway?" kai shrugs eating his food. even though the question was somewhat meaningless, like something you could forget about easily, but it made chanyeol think. why was he even trying so hard to find her anyway?

"I-i-I dont know." chanyeol exhaled, trying to sort out everything. it just felt weird, it felt like that experience, he was working hard for one person. he just wanted to get to her so everything can be ok. chanyeol was not used to it all. chanyeol was not that type of person.

"whatever, but you're not being yourself chanyeol, loosen up." kai tried pep talking his friend, he was getting kind of worried about him.

"yeah, yeah. chanyeol and his depressing love life is not what's popping at the moment. THE SNOW BALL IS COMING UP SOON." sehun was exploding with excitement. school balls were either the life or death of everyone. it wasn't just a 'ball' it was an unfair battle and competition. finders, keepers. losers, weepers. 

"lmao ten girls already asked me out." kai ran his hand through his hair in a weird manly way, but it was kinda like a magnet for the girls around him, but it just made his two friends roll their eyes.
