Brooke POV:

I sigh flopping onto my bed.I pull my phone out of my pocket and begin to message Chloe

Pink_Bury_Me_Now: Hey Chlo! What's up??🤗

NotUrValentine: Chillin with Mike and Jere, you?😛

Pink_Bury_Me_Now: Bored lol

NotUrValentine: Wanna go to the park?

Pink_Bury_Me_Now: Ye :)

NotUrValentine: K be there in a sec :)

I turn off my phone and smile.

On special days Chloe and I go to the park together.

We feed the ducks, talk, go on walks, and generally just have a good time.

I head down to the kitchen and prepare a picnic basket while getting lost in the rhythm of 'Kill the director' by The Wombats.

I find it really comforting to listen to music, the feel of noise flowing through my earbuds into my head.
