Without You. Max and Harvey

Why?

Ally's p.o.v

"Wait, he is doing what?" I blurted. I turned to Jessica giving her a stunned look. I started running through the halls. I reached the end of the hall and found Max. He was pinning Calum. People stood there watching them fight and recording it.

"Max! What the!" I screeched. I rushed towards him. I looked over and saw Harvey laying down, his nose bleeding. He wiped them off but it just kept flowing. I rushed towards him and helped him up. I told Jessica to take him to the nurse. Max had Calum still on the floor. Calum was about to thrust a punch but I quickly grabbed his arm with my two hands before he could reach Max's cheeks.

"Calum, stop!" I said. I looked at Max who quickly pinned Calum's arm to the ground. He couldn't move at all. I let go and told Max to let go.

"Max! let go!" I went behind his back and pulled him. He quickly stood up and rubbed his t-shirt. "Go to class before you get in trouble," I said. "Max! Go! Now!"

He kissed me on the lips and ran off. I'd rather get myself in trouble than him. A teacher came walking down my way. She examined the corridor and saw Callum on the floor.

"Please report in the front office." The teacher said.

Ally's p.o.v

I paced myself down the corridors to the front office. I walked into the room and saw Max. His left cheek was purple. "What happened?" I asked Max.

"Don't you do this" He pouted. Even though he had a bruise on his cheek, he still looked cute. "Do you think I would let you take the blame for my mistakes? No!" He hugged me and kissed my forehead.

"Which one caused the disturbance in the East Wing?" Mr. R asked.

"I did. She has got nothing to do with it. I have a bruise to prove it." He said. He pointed at his bruise and winked at me.

I giggled causing Mr. R to question what was funny. "Nothing," I replied.

"Get to class. Do you need a pass?" Mr. R asked.

"Yes please," I said. He started writing down the date, time and his signature on the piece of paper. He handed it to me, walked away with Max.

Ally's p.o.v

I completed all my homework for all my classes and have five classes left for the entire day. I left my backpack at the lunch table and decided to wander around. Usually, Max and I would walk around but I don't know where he is at the moment. He probably got sent home.

I turned toward a corner and stumbled into Callum. "Oh. Sorry, Ally. I didn't see you there." He said swaying back.

"Oh. It's okay, it was my fault. I wasn't watching where I was going." I replied. "By the way, I'm sorry about Max."

"That's okay. It's not your fault. It's Harvey's." Calum said.

"What do you mean it's Harvey's fault?" I asked him. He was the one on the floor with a bloody nose. To me, it seemed like he was the innocent one.

"He was hitting on my girlfriend." He replied.

"But that doesn't mean you can punch him in the nose," I said defensively. I started to walk away because he came closer.

He whispered in my ear "So is it okay if I hit on Max's pet?"

I got angry, but I knew better. I shouldn't waste my time, trying to fight with someone who isn't important to me. "I'm not his pet. I'm his girlfriend." I replied. I looked at him in the eye. "Now move or you're going to be in the nurse's office"

I walked myself back to the lunch table feeling a bit anxious and angry at the same time. I let it pass me as soon as I saw Max coming to the table with his lunch.

He rushed towards me and gave me a huge hug. "I missed you" He smirked.

"I missed you more," I said softly pinching his soft cheeks"

"Wasn't much of a fight and he wasn't doing anything for you Ally. It was for him and his brother. Harvey" Selene said stepping up to me. "It's okay. I won't hurt you"

Max was shaking his head signaling to not talk back but I couldn't help myself. "Yeah, you're probably too scared. But it's okay. I would be afraid of myself too."

"Everyone is afraid of you. Freak" Selene said.

"Okay that's enough Selene, now please go," Max said looking back.

"Alright. Bye Max." She said turning around to face him. Selene placed her palm on Max's chest and kissed him. "I"ll see you later in French? Mon amour?"

I stormed out of the cafeteria to go to my next class. Max followed me and kept calling my name to get my attention. I ignored him.

Ally's p.o.v

Max kept texting me but I kept leaving him on open.

Max: Ally

Max: Answer me, please! Tell me what's wrong. I'm here for you babe.

Max: I love you so much. Please. I'm begging you.

I felt bad, but he should have known what he did wrong. He just let Selene kissed him. Like there was nothing wrong with that.

Max: Tell me what's wrong. I'm Max for crying out loud! You should know I'm not brightest!

Me: Shut up. You are smart.

Max: There goes, my baby! Now please talk to me. I'm here for you. I'll stay up all night for you.

Me: Max you should already know what you did wrong.

Max: Is this about Selene kissing me?

Me: Bingo! There goes my boy.

Max: That meant nothing to me.

Me: Why didn't you do anything? You could have backed off.

Maybe it meant nothing. They barely know each other I shouldn't be overreacting.

Max: It was sudden. I would have. You know I would have if I knew she was going to do that.

Me: I'm sorry then. For overreacting.

Max: It's okay. I love you. I hope you know that.

Me: I love you too. And I hope you know that.
