Max's p.o.v
I bet you 10 pounds you can't say "I hate you, Max," I asked Ally.
"Yea? Do you want to bet? I bet I can" she said smirking.
I stuck my tongue out taunting her "I mean you can but you won't"
She pulled back her hair and brushed it with her fingers. "I will"
I gave her a sad look to make her feel guilty. It always works. "You will?" I frowned.
"Oh, you!" She glazed. "I- had. I love you!" she began laughing and curled into a ball. I hugged her. "I love you too," I whispered.

"MAX! Ahaha! Ew! No! Stop! Actually... STOP!" I screamed as he came near me with a spoon of yellow liquid. Could it be urine? I don't know!
"It isn't urine." He said as he slurped the liquid. "It's lemon juice."
"Why is the juice on a spoon then??" I questioned.
"I don't know! Do you think I would know?" Max exclaimed.
I rolled my eyes backward and gave him a smile. "Happy birthday baby boy!!"
"Whooo? You have a baby??? Haha... I'm joking. No, but seriously who is the baby boy." Max looked around. He stood up and took the blanket and wrapped it around him
"YOU'RE the baby boy!" I giggled. He turned around and looked at me wearing his clout goggles.
"Am I? I'm no longer a baby boy. I'm 15 now!" He answered.
Max came rushing towards me with the blanket still attached to him. He crashed down on the couch nearly hitting my feet. I lifted myself up and pinched his cheeks and he squinted.

"What's the game plan?" Harvey asked.
"I don't know Harvey. I was thinking that I was going to dinner with Ally and go see a movie with her."
Harvey looked disappointed. They only turn 15 once... together. I didn't want to ruin this special day for them.
"Max. Go do something with your brother. Have dinner with your family. IF we have time we could go see a movie or something. I'll be okay" I assured.
"But Ally..." Max said.
"Yes! Thank you, Ally! I owe you! Love you so much!" Harvey gave me a gleaming smile. I reflected a smile back.
Max was rethinking. He didn't look happy but Harvey did.
"Where do you want to go to eat, Max?!" Harvey excitedly asked. "Nandos?!"
Harvey kept blabbering about where to eat and then what they would do next. Max looked at me straight in the eyes. Harvey just went silent and all I was doing was staring at Max as he stares back at me.

The room was filled with different aromas. I was trying to collect my thoughts... by collecting my thoughts as in collecting all my thoughts about Ally. "How's the chicken, Max?" Mom asks.
"It's delicious. How is yours?"
"Perfect" Mom replies. "So how is your Harvey?"
Harvey kept eating the fries then chicken and back and forth. "It's great mom. Thank you." He says as he licks his fingers.
About an hour past and Dad got signaling us to go. The plates were filled with bones and half-eaten fries.
I waited outside feeling the cold air touch my skin. The lamp posts making the scene look lonely.
We drove home and I felt distant from my family. When I finally sat down on the couch, mom and dad gave us a gift. We both got 800 pounds. "You can buy a new watch, Max," Dad said. "OR save up for college?" Mom said emphasizing the 'or'.
"Thanks, Mom. Thanks, Dad" I smiled. I looked over at Harvey, his eyes fixed on the cash. He crashed into the floor and began caressing the paper on his skin.
"I'm going to spend it on Ally. Thank you" I smiled and walked away waving the cash. I could feel the look of shock on their faces. I could care less.

"That's a lot of money buddy!" I said giving him a hug.
"Thanks, buddy!" He replied back and giggled. "I think my family might give me some more though. I don't know yet."
I reached for the side of the sofa and grabbed his present. It occurred to me that the present wasn't worth much. Not even 20 pounds.
He opened up the box and pulled out the note that was on top of the pictures. He began reading the note and took a glance at the decorated box again.
Tears started forming in his eyes rolling down his red blushed cheek. He began laughing at the pictures. Then back to crying.
"They are just photos, Max..." I assured him. "No need to cry"
"But... It's... It's so thoughtful... and sweet... and everything I want" Max cried.
I hugged him and he hugged me back. I felt his soul intertwined with mine.
