Chapter 8

When I woke up I was lying next to Harry and it was 7:15. “Good morning love, I have a surprise for you” he said in a mischievous voice. Then I fell back asleep. When I woke up again about an hour later there was a note on the bed saying GO WITH MALLORY in Harry’s handwriting. I thudded downstairs and saw Mallory sitting in the living room eating a large bowl of cereal.

“Go and change into this” she said indicating a blue sundress. I changed into it and Mallory motioned me into her car. We drove to a deserted and wide open field where she told me to wait. “Hello, love” I heard from behind me and I jumped and turned around to see Harrys face and his signature grin spread across it. All of a sudden I heard music playing from somewhere and I recognized the song Moments. Harry began singing the verse and dancers showed up out of nowhere. Harry kept looking into my eyes and before I knew it, the song was almost over

I felt tears welling up in my eyes as Harry ended the song. “Catie, I have loved you forever, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Before I ask you this I want you to know that you are the most beautiful girl in the world and no one could ever replace you. I’ve made some stupid mistakes and I don’t want to make the same mistakes over again. I know we are young, but I also know that I love you with all my heart. So Catherine Samantha Malik, Kit Kat, will you promise me today that you will spend the rest of your life with me?” He said with his signature smile and he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring. He had a hopeful gleam in his eyes.

Harry Styles sure knew how charm a girl, I thought in my head. I thought back to that simple 4 letter word ‘love’. Does Harry love me? Yes, yes he does. Do I love Harry? I love him more than anything. And as I look down at this 18 year old boy who looked so young, I didn’t hesitate to say “I love you, Haz, of course I would say yes!” Harry picked me up and twirled me around and I felt like the luckiest girl on the planet.
