High school.

Its where I met my first love.

And when I realized that being pretty isn't the only thing that you need to get someone.

But that didn't give me a lesson. No. It just made me worse.

First I was just a little cheerleader but I didn't have a crew I had friends.

But then I met Calum Hood.

He wasn't the most attractive guy in school but he was my first love. Even though he had pimples and everyone thought he was asian. But he was very cute for me even though he ignored me all of the time and he loathed me but hey! I want what I can't have.

So here I am asking Calum Hood on a date.

"Come on Cal, please."

"No."

"But Caluuuum..."

"Why would you ask me anyway?"

"Because I think you're very cute and I really want to try that new pizza place."

"Uhm.. Let me think... No."

"Whatever Im gonna pick you up at 7."

"How did you know my address?"

"I have my connections." i smirked

"You are a stalker."

"I love you too, babe" i flew a kiss in his direction and walked off to cheer practice

"Ugh don't tell me you're still obsessed with that Asian guy." Lilian my head cheer leader said

"He's not Asian." i said and changed my clothes to my cheer uniform

After practice i walked to Calum's locker and waited for him.

"Go away." Calum said with a small girl wearing glasses and cute earrings behind him

"Who is she?" I frowned

"She's Katrina, my lab partner."

"Aww... We almost have the same name! My name is Katarina by the way I love you earrings where did you get them?" i cooed

"They're my grandmother's"

"Ooh, vintage... cute!"

"Thank you."

"Oh yeah anyways i have got to go i just came here to remind you Calum I'm picking you up at 7. Don't be late!" i said

"Bye Katrina!" i called out

I walked to my black convertible wearing a tank top with a peace sign at the front, skinny jeans and black converse.

As I drove to Calum's house i was thinking why Calum didn't want to go to a date with me and I have 3 theories so far

1. He was playing hard to get

2. He actually hated me

3. He likes me but he has a 1st grader's way of expressing it

I was really rooting for number one though. I hadn't noticed that I already arrived at Calum's so I turned off the engine and ringed the doorbell

I expected Calum but I saw a tall blonde guy answer the door.

"Pizza? No not pizza." His eye widened when he recognized me and shut the door in my face.

I blinked a few times to regain my shock and then the door opened again and it was Calum who opened the door.

"Why are you here?' he asked clearly annoyed

"You forgot?"

"Forgot what?"

He forgot. Ok that really hit my heart and ego BIG time i felt my eyes getting watery but i held them back. I closed my eyes for a few seconds and smiled brightly.

"Our date of course." i said sweetly and noticed there were three blonde boys staring at me the whole time

"But I already ate pizza."

I frowned and looked at the ground,  I fiddled my fingers and said,

"Oh.. W-well then okay i guess I'll just see you next time. yeah?" i said walking to my car and counted to my head

3, 2, 1,

"Wait!" the blonde boy who shut the door before shouted

"You could stay here!" another blonde shouted

"Calum just ordered another box of pizza!" another blonde shouted

"Oh no its okay... i don't want to ruin your boys night."

they shouted their protests but i just shook my head and smiled

i drove off.. that is what you should do to make them like you, show off your vunerable side but no crying or else they will think you are weak.
