I enter the shower cabin, letting the hot water rain on my bronze skin.

There is something you must know about me... I'm special. No, not in an orphan kind of way. I'm special in a "superpowerful" kind of way.
Since I'm 12, I discovered that I have superpowers. Let me explain:

Orphanage of New York, august 31 2012.

I was in my room with my Eliza, a little girl who talks wayy too much. She was telling me how wonderful were the couple that visited her and that at their house, they had a piano and a pool. As she was talking,I was cleaning the windows. I was smiling to hide the bored and pissed expression on my face. The fact that this annoying little girl could get a family by the just sitting still and look pretty when I tried everything to be adopted.  I try to brush off my anger, so I take deep breath.  It is unfair but life is as it is and jealousy is a horrible sentiment.  I turn my head around to look at the flowers she got me as a gift for my "friendship". They weren't the same! At first, the flowers were pretty and yellow but now, they were brown and rotted. Eliza came beside me and saw the state of her gift. "I saw what happened! You're a witch, a monster!"
"I did this?" I thought. But Eliza had already run to Miss Clark to tell her what I did. Since that moment, Miss Clark would tell anyone that wanted to adopt me that I was a witch and I could kill with my superpowers so no one would adopt me.

End of the story? I ran away. I know what you think:" poor little girl, she doesn't deserve thiiiis!"
You know what, I'm better in this apartment than with this Miss Clark. I live my life without anyone telling what I have to do (exept Eden, she's the only one who can).
