"Say cheese." Carter said holding up the Polaroid camera. I rolled my eyes at him and smiled with Phoenix at my side.

"We've taken like a thousand pictures, Carter. Damian, please help." I begged looking at Damian who was sobbing his heart out.

"My little boy is all grown up." He cried and pulled me in, Carter took more pictures.

"I was never a little boy, Damian." I said laughing and shook my head. "You were suppose to help me."

"You're so grown up, my baby."

"Babe, please, he can't breath." Carter said pulling Damian away. I rolled my eyes and couldn't stop laughing at how annoyingly smothering Damian was.

"The dance is going to start soon." Phoenix said wrapping his arm around my waist. I looked up at his grey eyes and fell in love all over again.

Carter's drop out friends were behind him, them to crying because it was only a year or two ago I was going to the dance with them.

"Diego, don't start crying now." I said to him. Him and the gang may not be in my life all that much but they're there for Carter, which makes them there for me.

"I'm not! That's Gilbert!" Diego said looking at Gilbert who was dressed in a tux, he was bringing his girl to the dance. She was my age.

"I ain't crying, bastard." He said whipping a tear and pushed his bleach blonde hair out of his face. I laughed and shook my head, thinking back to the dare a year ago he had to do and lost.

We were doing a spin the bottle truth or dare would you rather dare version and it landed on Gilbert. We dared him to either kiss his long lost love Diego and date him or to bleach his hair blonde.

To say the least, Diego was dating somebody and didn't want to kiss him at that moment, so Gilbert took the hit and bleached his hair.

"You still look hideous." I said to Gilbert laughing. Gilbert rolled his eyes and kissed his girlfriend.

I don't know her name.

But she seems nice.

Not really.

"Okay! Time to go!" Phoenix said grabbing Carter's camera and pushing everyone inside the frame. "Say cheese! You're not going to see these kids until tomorrow!"

"You fucking asshole!" Carter yelled coming towards the camera as Phoenix took the picture and ran off, Carter following behind him. "You will not do anything to him! I forbid it!"

"Tell that to your brother!" Phoenix joked and ran towards Damian, giving him the camera, grabbing my hand and pulled both of us inside the car.

Carter ran after us, even inside the car and stopped after a while, waving at us. I laughed so much tears were coming out of my eyes and my body was becoming hot.

"You're ridiculous! My brother is going to kill you." I laughed looking over at the love of my life.

Phoenix smiled and looked over at me, his eyes glowing. "I-"

"I love you! I never get to say it first." I said to Phoenix smiling. He rolled his eyes and pulled into the school.

"Ready?" He asked holding open my door, a hand out like always.

I took it and got out of the car. It felt like we were at a state of the union, everyone looking to see who Phoenix was with. Gasping when they saw it was me. Instead of looking down, avoiding eye contact, I looked up proud.

Proud that I wasn't jealous of any of these people. Proud I managed to find the love of my life at such a young age.

Proud to be happy.

The air around us was amazing. We were both so happy, only worry was college but that didn't matter right now.

I looked around noticing the theme. It was bioluminescent under the water theme. Neon ocean. Fake jellyfish hung from the ceiling.

The lights were blue, making it seem like we were actually under the sea. Phoenix's eyes looked blue right now, the grey hidden underneath.

But I still loved them.

I love him.

"Let's go!" I laughed running into the dance floor, not caring about a single thing.

No girl.

No bullies.

No sadness.

No anger.

Just pure, fulfilling, happiness.

Hey guys! So today was nothing special, I went ice skating with my little brother and it was very scary. I'm not the best at controlling my long limbs and so doing that on skates was hard. But I worked it out and put on a brave face to help my brother.

I'm starting to understand the life of a parent.

But yeah, if you ever want to watch something with all of the movie genres combined, watch animal planet stuff. There's a show on Netflix like that Planet Earth or something. But yeah, binged watched that.
