The Death of George Washington

With a large belly and a growing baby, Clarke hasn't had the easiest time moving around and doing everyday things. She struggles to get her shoes on and to keep up with the men she lives with. Luckily, the sickness has passed but the anxiety of seeing Jack hasn't gotten much better. Of course, the three Templars have no idea what's going on, though Connor was always right at her side when she needed help.

"You should tell Haytham," Connor tells her, as he does all the time. "He's the father of your child, he deserves to know these things."

"I'll tell him when I'm ready," she shakes her head, standing on the back porch of the Kenway Mansion. A nice breeze comes through, allowing her hair to move off her neck. "When the time is right."

"George Washington came into town this morning, the time is now."

"Connor," she then snapped, frowning at him. "Let me share my story on my own time, alright? It's my choice. My life."

He frowns, but then nods. "Fine," he finally backed off. "Have it your way."

She nods, though glances over when she sees the door open. Out walks all the Templars, Jack luckily not accompanying them. All three have smiles on their faces, warming Clarke's heart. Having Hickey back makes them all feel like a family again. If only William and Pitcairn were here to see it.

"Today's the day," Charles says. "The one we've all been waiting for, America will thank us for this."

"Ready to be one of the big guys, blondie?" Thomas grins at her, to which she nods.

"I've been ready. I don't really know what to say to all of you other than thank you, I guess. For finding me in the alley all those years ago. You didn't abandon me and uh... helped me remake my family."

"We love you, Clarke," Haytham says as he steps forward, smiling at her. "I love you, more than anything. Which is why I... have to ask; though I should have before I got you pregnant." The man gets down on one knee, reaching into his pocket to bring out a nicely carved wooden box. Upon opening it, it shows a silver ring with a diamond engraved into it, smaller ones around the edges.

Clarke knows exactly what he's going to do, and she can't contain herself. Her hands come to cover her mouth, which was gaping open. She can hear Thomas chuckle from her right.

"Clarke," he says, a hopeful smile on his face. "Will you do me the honor of being my wife?"

She can't find words, but she nods quickly. Her left hand comes down, allowing Haytham to take ahold of it and slowly slide the ring on. A perfect fit. The moment it sits safely on her finger, Clarke moves forward ad wraps her arms around his neck in a tight hug.

"Told you she'd say yes!" Charles grinned ear to ear, the same expression being shared by Thomas, a smaller smile on Connor's face.

"To the Kenways, then!" Thomas cheered. "Now lets kill that damned Georgie!"

Now wearing a long white dress, Clarke walks down through the main road of Boston. Her hair sits nicely at her shoulders, and she's cleaned herself up to look as nice as she could. Plans had changed in the sense that Haytham and Charles would sneak a gun into the Washington Estate, while Connor, Jack and Thomas all distract Washington to come Clarke's way.

The short girl glances around, her eyes landing on the three men. Both Thomas and Jack had teamed up together, yelling at Connor and calling him awful names. It didn't seem like much, until Jack pulls out a gun and aims it at Connor. That wasn't part of the plan.
