Catching Up With Killer

Law kisses your temple as he drops you off at the hospital. Both he and Kid have school, so it's just gonna be you and Killer till 4PM.

You slowly make your way to the elevator and push the button to call it to the ground floor.

When it opens you step in and take a deep breath before pushing the button for the 3rd floor.

You step out when you reach your floor, but you stop when you exit the elevator.

You want to see your brother so bad, but your not really sure what to say to him. You haven't seen eachother in such a long time. You didn't stay long yesterday, and Kid and Law were both there. Today it's just you and Killer... alone... for 8 hours.

You take another deep breath and start to slowly walk down the hall to room 3188.

When you get to the room your not sure if you should knock or just walk in.

I mean what if he's naked or something!

You shake that thought away, and knock three times on the heavy door.

"Come in"

You hear from behind the door. You push your way into the room, and shut the door behind you. Your looking at the floor so you don't see Killers eyes light up when he sees that it's you.

"Hey sis, I didn't know you were coming this morning. When Kid told me he had class, I thought you would wait and come with him, but I'm glad your here."

"I'm sorry" Was all you could get out as your heart started to ache.

Killer cocks an eyebrow. "Sorry for what?"

Tears start to stream down your face as you sniffle. "I'm so sorry that we lost touch, and that you had that horrible accident."

Your still looking down at the floor so you don't notice Killer get up from the bed.

All the sudden you feel two strong arms wrap around you, as your pulled into Killers warm embrace.

"Please don't cry (y/n). I have never been able to stand to see you this way."

You start to sob as he holds you tight.

"It's not your fault that we lost touch, or is it your fault that this happened to me. I'm okay, I promise."

Killer kisses the top of your head, and releases you from his hold.

"So how long are you gonna be here today?"

"All day" you say as you smile up at Killer

"That's awesome, it will give us some time to catch up."

"Ya, I even brought a deck of cards so we would have something to do." You pull the deck of cards from your purse and Killer ushers you over to a chair that's next to his bed.

You sit as Killer moves a table that's on wheels in between you and the bed. He then takes a seat back on the bed.

You take the cards out of the pack and began to shuffle. "Okay Killer, what shall we play first?"

"How about a simple game of go fish to get us warmed up while we chat."

"Okay your on, but you should know that I'm a master at go fish!" You giggle as you deal the cards.

"Okay so, tell me about your life, from the time we moved until now."

You stop dealing and look down at your cards as a saddened expression washes over your once smiling face.

"You don't really wanna know what's happened! My life was hell until I moved in with Law at the beginning of this year!"

Killer sighs, "I heard from Kid a little bit, at least what Law would tell him. (Y/n) please look at me."
