The problem

Every day Ava works at the school she feels more one of them. She made friends with the other teacher. The children love her. She is totally excepted. But she doesn't feel like that totally because of a fight she had had earlier with one of the parents. So she thought a good parent meeting would be good. The parents could get to know Ava and feel more comfortable.

The parent evening had started. Ava had been talking with a couple of parents when Mr. Smith walked to her. Ava felt a bit scared and nervous because he was the father she had been fighting with. When he approached her she thought she could better be polite and act like nothing happened. 'Hey!' He said with a polite smile. 'Hi' 'so I wanted talk about last week.' 'Okay' 'well first of all I'm really sorry, I don't know what possessed me, it's just that I'm raising billy all by myself and I can't let get him hurt. He's my everything you know?' 'yes I understand' Ava said 'thanks, not that that's a reason to be such a jerk, it's just a bit of an explanation. Which I think I owed you.' Ava laughed. 'I'm glad you think it's funny, cause I really thought it was one of the worst things I ever did.' 'One of your worst?' Ava said. 'Have you done so many terrible things than?' 'No!' he said laughing. 'Hé, okay this is maybe gonna sound a bit crazy, but... Would you like to come to Billy's soccer game this Saturday?' 'Omg yes!' Ava said. 'great, it would mean a lot to him, I'll see you Saturday than?' 'yeah, see you Saturday.'
