Chapter 2: Narcos

~(Y/N) P.O.V~

(We arrive at the crime scene and it was almost the middle of the night. The officers were everywhere and the blue and red lights illuminated the entire neighborhood. Kai was in his police uniform, leading me towards the crime scene. Jiwoo was behind with some officers taking details Abt the whole case. She is a more like a reporter than a journalist actually)

(But I was in shock. The world faded around me. It felt like I was walking on a dead zone. I just felt empty and wanted to collapse. There was a bike there, which was on the ground and some blood around it.)

Kai: (Y/N)? Are you listening?

(Y/N): What??

Kai: I said...there were no bodies found. So there is a high chance that Yoonji is still alive so don't worry

(I just nodded my head at him. I was feeling shocked. I didn't even cry...idk why..it's like Idk how to cry anymore)

Kai: Alright talk to me guys, what happened here?

Officer: Well what you see, is what you get sir. Two victims were present here. One is the girl and the other is the guy, boyfriend probably. His parents are also freaking out

(I looked from the corner of my eye and saw a woman and man crying , those must be the parents)

Kai: Yeah but what Happened?

Officer: Well..they both stopped here because of the flat tire when someone attacked

(That's when I finally started to talk)

(Y/N): I'm sorry...someone attacked?

Officer: Yeah, I mean there are these marks on the ground of two other people. A man and a woman I presume

(Y/N): How can you tell?

Kai: Well...look at the marks. That looks like heels and the other looks like some boots.

(They really were)

(Y/N): So...this is a typical kidnapped case?

Kai: Except there's no message...which is strange

Woman: Wrong sir...

(We turned around to see a woman dressed in police uniform)

Woman: There us a message sir...and the one we did not expect...

Kai: What?

(She handed out a small plastic bag in which there was a knife inside and some letters were engraved on them, but I couldn't see clearly because of the blood)

(Kai takes the bag and takes out the knife and his face goes pale, And he looks at me)

Kai: This is more complicated than I thought

(I take the knife in my hand and see the engravement and it said)

"Narcos"

(Y/N): Narcos?? What's that??

Kai: Fuck....

(Y/N): What does it mean?? What does it mean Kai?!

Jiwoo: Kai!!

(Jiwoo runs up to us. Probably knowing something she doesn't want me to know)

Kai: It's okay. We need to tell her...

(Y/N): Tell me what??
