Ryken laid wide awake staring at the ceiling at midnight. Ryken suddenly sat up and noticed Kimeku sitting next to the side of the bed with her head on the bed, asleep. Ryke got up and carefully placed Kimeku in his place, then walked to the back of his home. In the distance, there was the ocean. It was easily visible because Ryken's home is up hill. Ryken closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Then he grabbed on to a completely different fighting pose. Ryken stood there, waiting. A spot in the ocean began to spin in a circle. Slowly then, slowly faster. Kimeku stood in the door way, wiping her left eye. Then suddenly, Ryken threw his left fist as hard as he can. "HAA!" The ocean water stopped and went back to it's normal state and the wind started to blow torward the direction Ryken punched. "I'm still not ready..." Ryken whispered to him self. Kimeku yawned. Ryken turned his head to her. "Oh..I didn't notice you were there. Did I wake you?" Ryken asked Kimeku.

"No.." Kimeku yawned again, "I noticed that I was in your spot, and wondered where you were." Kimeku answered

"You needn't worry about me, Kimeku. You get your rest."

"heh, I'm not going back to sleep without knowing your in there." Kimeku said.

"You make things hard. I'll sit in there. But I won't be able to sleep." Ryken said.

Mikachi sat in a huge lake that had a waterfall with her sister. Mikachi is in a meditation position, and look like she is focusing as hard as she can. Then she lost grasp of the focus. "Ugh! This is hard!" Mikachi said in frustration.

"Mmm. That's no good. Your not meditating if you focusing. Meditation is for clearing and calming the mind. At this rate, the pool of soft blood won't respond to you." Mikachi's sister said.

"Please show me an example!" Mikachi pleaded. Her sister sighed.

"Fine. I'll need you step out of the water." Mikachi stepped out of the lake. "Watch and listen." Mikachi's sister closed her eyes. "The moon is full. You can use this as the main object to clear your mind with. Think of one positive thing about the moon. And repeat that to yourself. Focus without focusing on this one positive thing." Mikachi's sister explained, then going completely quiet. It was nothing but the sound of waterfall for 4 minutes. Suddenly, a area of water turned red with Mikachi's sister in the middle. Mikachi was amazed.

"Did the Pool of Soft Blood respond to you?!" Mikachi asked. Mikachi's sister opened her eyes and the red area of water turned back to it's normal color.

"No. In order for the Pool of Soft Blood to respond, You have to get the whole lake to turn red, as well as the waterfall. And in order for me to increase how much I change, I have to learn how to clear my mind even further." Mikachi's sister explained.

"So it's that hard to do it alone?"

"Unfortunately, yes. Or you can just have other vampires help. Having your mind completely clear is hard to obtain even at my age and experience with my eye."

"Dang it!" Mikachi said.

"You needn't worry. We'll continue this after the tournament. There'll be another full moon tomorrow night."

"Oh.. Right. It can only be done at night time."

"Yep. So you have all the time to think of something to clear your mind with. Use the rest of this night to feel better for the tournament.
