I could smell that it was raining outside the cave, but the pups needed food. I carefully got up trying not to disturb the pups. Once the warmth of my body was gone, they curled up against one another to keep warm. The cave was pretty cold and it was going to be fall in not to long. So I was going to need to get some blankets to keep them warm.

I walked out of the cave into the cold rain and started hunting. I caught 5 rabbits and 1 deer and headed off to the butcher shop. I walked into the butcher shop. It was the same as yesterday, two coins per pound. The rabbits were weighed first and they equaled 12 pounds and then the deer which weighed 10 pounds. He handed me 44 coins and I placed them in my pouch.

"You're a good supplier for this shop," he told me with a nod of his head.

I bought some milk from Victoria, but she wasn't as talkative as she was yesterday. I knew that I needed some blankets so I walked into the bookshop. The bookshop didn't just sell books, they also sold clothing. There were rows and rows of books, blankets and clothing were piled up one the right side of the shop. An old woman with gray hair, and the ears and tail of a Egyptian Mau sat at an old wooden counter. I walked over to the clothing and picked up three heavy blankets. I placed them on the counter and lady looked up at me. She had wrinkles that littered her face and dark brown almost black eyes. She gave a crooked toothless smile.

"That will be 12 coins," she said in a sickly sweet voice. I handed her the coins and decided to look around the book shop. I had 30 coins left in my pouch, including the coins from yesterday. I picked up a old dusty book and opened it up. The pages were yellowed and the words were in beautiful, curly letters. A pentagram was burned into leather of the front cover. I toke the book up to the front and placed it in front of the old woman running the store. She looked at the book and smiled a crooked wrinkled smile.

"Are you looking to learn magic?" she asked.

"Magic?"

"Yes, magic. This is a book of magic."

"Well, I guess so."

She smiled sweetly, which honestly creeped me out and held her hand out to me. "1 coin please." I fished out one coin and placed it in the palm of her hand. "Good luck, sweet heart. The goddess has great things planed for you." And with that said she handed me the book, the milk from earlier, and the blankets I had paied for.

I walked out the shop and headed toward home. When I got to the cave the pups were awake and playing with each other. I walked over to them and placed everything down. The pups came rushing over to me yelping hungry for their breakfast. I gave them their breakfast and sat down and began reading the spell book I got from the shop.
