"What happened to nancy!" Ethan said "she couldn't find the right dress for dinner tonight" I said and rolled my eyes "she made it sound like a huge deal" I added. "Okay well, we'll see you later jack" Grayson said and jack just rolled his eyes, he's clearly still pissed about what he did to lexi. I was also really annoyed but he is my boyfriends twin so I kinda had to forgive him because I'll be seeing him too much.
Just as we were about to leave the front door swung open and there was Lexi and Leo laughing like crazy. In the corner of my eye I could see Grayson's fist tighten and jaw clenches.
Wow he's still in love with her after all those years...
Alexa's POV:
"Shut up leo, it was one time" I said while trying to control my laughs "its still hilarious" he said so his laughs die down as I open the door, there stood my brother, my friends and Grayson. "Hey, guys, I didn't know you were coming over" I asked clearly confused.
What makes me more confused is their replys at the same time "I left my phone" Ethan said "I was waiting for you to get ready for the fair" Valerie said "jack invited me" Grayson said.
"Okay, that's all bs! Ethan you were taking pictures of the pancakes you ordered, Valerie were both already ready and Grayson jack hates your freaking guts! Now some one give me the real reason please" I said impatiently "to talk to jack about college" Valerie said "elaborate" I sternly said, a long sigh escapes her lip before saying "he was gonna pay the college to make us room with you" Valerie said "why may I ask?" I exclaim. my blood boils at what she said "we didn't want you to be with a stranger that might be bad for you" ethan murmured "unbelievable!! I can take care off my self you know!!" I said fully angry by now.
Grayson scoffs then said "no you can't! You're literally running around with a random stranger that is most likely an bad guy!" "Who are you to decided my life!!"I scoffed then added "let's go Leo, I don't want to stay much longer" then we left.
Grayson's POV:
"Well done guys! She's mad at us" Ethan said "don't you think I see that! UGH!" Valerie shouted "why is Leo always her go to? He's not good for her!" I yelled "Grayson you need to get over her you're acting like you did when she met casper" Valerie said calmly "I am over her that was a long time ago" I said mostly trying to convince myself.
"Grayson look i-" she started "no val I'm over it" I said a little louder. "You're not, i know your not but just...be happy for her gray" she said with pleading eyes "whatever val, I'm going to go meet rose, bye" I said "just think about it grayson" val said before I left.
I am definitely over her. Why would Valerie even think that I wouldn't be!
Because you're not, dumbass! My conscience said. I do have a girlfriend but she's not the same. I can't believe I had the guts to hit her! What's wrong with me! I should probably apologize to her. Ffs she's with Leo rn. Why is this so hard for me? Why can't I just let her be with him?
Why is it so hard to let go?
