A new found friendship

I had officially stopped mopping.

Not that I was doing a lot in the first place.

After we went out of the room, Derek put me down, and I burst out laughing.

"Why did you guys help me?" I asked as I finally stopped laughing.

"Well," said Derek blushing, "I guess I didn't have to pick you up,"

"Yeah but if you didn't I would of punched his face in,"

"Good point," mused Asher with a grin.

"Hi I'm Bennett, but you can just call me Bent," said benne- Bent, offering me his hand, I looked up at his face, then I looked down at his hand, and took it in my own, "Lillian, but just call me Lilly." I said with a smile.

"Derek, but just call me Dec," said Dec with a grin,

"And just call me Ash-ow!" Said Ash after Dec punched him on the arm, "why'd ya do that for?!" He whined rubbing his arm,

" 'cause you're meant to introduce your self properly, because after all,"

"Chivalry isn't dead," said me, Bent and Dec, we looked at each other and burst out laughing.

I had science with crawley first, I want in and took a seat next to Ash?

"Hey!" Said Ashley and Asher in unison.

"Um hi Ash and.... Ash,"

I went and took a seat in between them and took out my books, "so do you two know each other already?"

"Yeah, we do don't we," said Ash winking at Ashley, Ashley giggled and looked away.

I rolled my eyes and opened my book to page 12, we were going over neutrons, electrons and protons.

Mr Crawley cleared his throat and began, "so today we are going to be learning about electro-, yes Ashen?"

" it's Asher sir, and I've got a joke about this subject," he said with a cocky grin.

"We'll go on then Ashen," he said patiently.

"It's Asher sir," everyone laughed, " ok then, so a neutron walks into a bar, he orders a beer and asks the bartender how much it is, the bartender replies, for you no charge," a couple of people laughed, but most did not get it.

"Ok then, if that's all, let's get back to the- yes Ashen, again,"

"It's Asher sir, again," everyone snickered,"I've got another joke sir," he said with a grin, "go on then Ash-" 

"-er," Ash finished, everyone snickered again.

" ok, so in the same bar, two atoms ordered some beer, one of them suddenly said, I think I just say a hair in my beer, the other one asked, are you sure, and the first, yeah I'm positive."

Several people laughed, and the rest of the lesson basically consisted of Ash throwing around jokes.

Second lesson we had another English test, Derek was in my class, and either he finished early, or just gave up on the test, because whenever I looked up at him, he would be winking at any girl who caught his eye, even when I looked at him, he winked at me, so I did him a favour and gave him the finger, and that made him keep his head down for the rest of the lesson, but not before he gave me a glare, and boy, is that boy good at glaring.

Break I went into the bathroom in the secluded side of the school, the west wing, I spent most of my breaks and lunches there to escape everyone.

I went in as usual, and went up to one of the mirrors and plonked down in between the sinks, you weren't aloud your phones in school, so this was a good place I could use my phone  as well.

A sudden sob made my head snap up, someone was in one of the cubicles. The sobbing continued, and I was about to get up and check it out when a cubicle door burst open and a girl, I think a cheerleader, ran out sobbing and clutching her Pom poms.

"Why'd ya look so startled," said some one in a mocking drawl.

I tore my gaze away from the girl who had just run out of the bathroom, and looked at Cain instead.

He was in the cubicle with the girl, "what are you doing in here!" I snapped, shoving my phone into my backpack and slinging it on my shoulders.

I started to get down, but Cain jumped in front of me blocking my exit.

He stood in between my legs, forcing me to stay where I was.

"Move," I said trying to push him away, 

"Aren't you going to ask me why I just broke up with her?" He said, tilting his head to the side and giving me an innocent smile.

Just that small gesture made my heart flutter, but I pushed that thought aside and instead said, "no, cause I know you only did it so you could make out with another girl,"

His smile faltered, "no, I did it so we could be together,"

I burst out laughing, "as if, even if I do end up going out with you, you'll end up breaking my heart by kissing, no making out with another girl," I said crossing my arms, and trying to stop laughing.

"How about we make a deal," he said with a cocky grin," I won't kiss, make out with, or even flirt with any girls, the exception being you of course, for a whole week, and if I succeed, you have to go out with me," he said confidently.

I couldn't help but blush at this, he was willing to go to such length just to make me go out with him. But on the other hand, this could all just be fake, and he could just be using me.

But I had a good idea to stop him from cheating.

"Ok then, give me your phone," I said with a smirk.

"Why?" He asked suspiciously. I just put a finger on his lips, and held out my hands for his phone.

I could tell he was slightly startled by this gesture, even I didn't know where this sudden burst of confidence had come from.

He handed me his phone, and I was going to move my hand away from his mouth, but when I tried, he just cupped my hand with his own, so I was forced to leave it there.

I went onto his contacts and deleted every single one, except the ones that said mum and big bro.

I quickly looked at his face to see if he was looking at the phone, but he was just looking at me, so I quickly tapped in my number, and thrust it into his hand, I quickly snatched back my hand and ran out of the door, shouting over my shoulder, "the deal starts now!"
