**Few Weeks Later**

"Mommy" Gabby said running into my legs hugging them tightly just as soon as I opened the door for them. I couldn't help but get all warm inside at her happiness to see me. It didn't matter if she was going to me or him, she was excited.

I laughed instantly scoping her up giving her a kiss on her head as I moved out of the way for Harry to bring her stuff inside.

I didn't say anything just holding her, I didn't see her all day. These days alone killed me, I felt lost without her by my side asking questions, saying something funny or her running around dancing.

Sad I know.

It wasn't all bad though... I was able to catch up with shows, sleep, and do some errands but, I could do those with her here too. I guess it just felt weird without her right there with me all the time.

"Look at my new doll Harry got me" she said showing me her new Barbie smiling and I returned it nodding. Always buying something not sure if it was good or it was going to spoil her.

Once I put her down, she ran back over to Harry hugging him and he looked down at smiling. "I love you Harry" she said and I could see him freeze up lost for words after hearing that.

It left us both lost for words to be honest. I was happy with it though, maybe today was the day I could tell her this was her father. What was the point in not telling her? She would know her father was here and loved her just as much as me.

She loved him.

It's been a few days since that argument and things haven't gotten worse but, not exactly better either. Well ...the stares and smart remarks stopped so that was a plus right? I could say we were co-parenting finally.

He crouched down smiling at her with the brightest smile and dimples showing "I love you too" he whispered before kissing her forehead and pulling her in.

I couldn't help but smile seeing how much that affected him right now. It made his day, possibly did more than that. Why did I think this would be a bad decision? I was wrong, completely wrong.

She giggled pulling away and headed to her room leaving us there in silence for a few seconds. I wanted to say something but, not sure what.

He looked over at me as I spoke up silently asking the first thing that came to mind "Has she ate dinner yet?" I asked and he shook his head getting back up watching me.

"No....She wanted to eat dinner with you" he simply stated and I nodded "I'll get started on dinner now then" I simply stated heading to the kitchen when he spoke up again making me stop in my tracks.

"Actually... I was wondering if you wanted to go out with us for dinner" he stated leaving me there frozen wondering if I heard him correctly. He stared at me waiting for my answer as I tried to get over the shock chuckling nervously. He just stood there waiting

"What?" I asked knowing damn well I heard him correctly. It was the shock, didn't expect that to ever leave his mouth yet, here we were. "She wanted to go to Sonic and we wanted to know if you wanted to go with us" he stated and I nodded finally getting it. Gabby wanted me there but, I was going to decline. This was the time they should spend together, she could have dinner with me at any other time.

"It's fine, you can take her-" "You ate already?" He asked and I brushed it off. It wasn't about it at all, just Gabby "Not hungry, you guys go ahead" "Well then just come get a drink or something. We are always passing her over to the other, never actually together" I took a deep breath looking away shrugging.

I thought that's how he wanted it and I was okay with it. That's kind of how co-parenting works. We were cordial when she was around and I was thankful she didn't notice it.
