Chapter Thirty-Nine

"Can't believe how quick it happen... I don't think I was even fully aware of what was happening until I held you in my arms..." I heard his voice say instantly. I took a deep breath opening my eyes blinking as my sight got clearer.

My heart stopped looking at him as he held our bundle of joy in his arms as he smiled looking down to him. Yes him. He was right about us having a boy and even though Gabby would be bummed about not having a baby sister she'll just be happy with being an older sister anyway.

I was just happy to have a healthy child and a happy family.

I could see the joy radiating off of him from here as he held our son. He just looked in disbelief yet so ecstatic. All he wanted was another kid but, he ended up being the one to bring him into this world. I couldn't imagine what he was feeling.

I smiled seeing him still talking to him "You seemed so impatient just like your mommy. I guess you were so excited to meet us and we were too. I know you want to match that beautiful voice to a beautiful face. She's sleeping so you got me for now" he chuckled making me giggle tiredly.

I wanted to let him know I was up but I just loved witnessing this son and father bonding.

To be honest I wasn't sure if he would be able to just go into action. I knew he was prepared but he was REALLY prepared. Best father and husband.

Suddenly one of my nurses walked in looking over at them then me smiling. "How you feeling mama?" she asked making me chuckle a bit then looked over to a surprised Harry that turned into a warm smile.

He instantly got up walking slowly over to me as I returned the smile. "I'm okay, I guess as good as you can feel after this" I smiled making her laugh nodding. "What time is it?" "8:30. You've been out for a few hours" she smiled making Harry laugh as I looked over to him.

"You had me nervous for a second at how quick you passed out. Once they went to get him cleaned up, I turned back to you and you were knocked out" "Damn" I laughed trying to sit up a bit.

I remember holding him for a few moments before they had to take him and get cleaned off, the rest was a blur.

The nurse checked up on everything making sure I was comfortable, not in pain etc then checked on Dominic and reassuring us he was in perfect shape. Harry was by my side as she did her check up kissing my head and resting his head on mine.

I just cuddled into his arms watching in silence until he spoke up.

"Do you need anything?" He asked kissing my head making me smile as I nodded my head looking at him. "Just some water please and thank you" I whispered as he nodded pressing his lips to mine before grabbing a cup and filling it up with water.

Once everything seemed to be good, she stepped out and my baby boy was in my arms looking around and giving me a smile as I just watched him in amazement.

"So you were right, a baby boy" He chuckled bringing the water to me smiling as hard as he could. "Dominic... " he whispered passing me the water. I took a few sips as he watched me "Hey whenever you're ready we can work on a girl"

I choked on my water a bit looking up to him taking back. What the fuck.

"He hasn't even been in this world a whole day and you're already talking about having another child" I joked making him laugh as I looked down at Dominic brushing his short brown curls away from his face.

"Have you spoke to everyone?" "They were calling me before I could call them, they should be here in about an hour. Your mom was here early when you were sleeping but, said she'll be back later. I told the rest to give us a few hours with everything. Doubt you want everyone in your space after all of this" he stated and I just shrugged. I don't think I would even care, I was knocked out.
