I really don't know.
I think I like Luna Lovegood.
I call Harry and tell him to come up.
Seconds later I hear his footsteps on the stairs.
"George?"
"Harry?"
"What?"
"Come here. Girl help."
He nods in understanding.
"So, what girl are we talking about?"
"Lovegood."
"Wow. What about her?"
"I want to be with her, but I also don't want to be happy when Fred's not here."
"Wouldn't Fred want you to be happy?" He'd want you to carry on his legacy and be happy. Be the Fred he could never be, not a depressed loner sitting in an attic mourning everyday of his life."
"Oh.."
"Yes, oh. Now you understand."
"Yeah, I guess so."
"I will approve of you two, so go get her. She loves you, you know that?"
"She does?"
"Why else would she tolerate you every day? She's had a crush on you since her first year, George!"
"Okay, Harry."
"I'm leaving, okay? I want you two to at least kiss when I leave. I want a report, too."
I laugh. "Of course, Harry."

I walk over to my old bed after Harry leaves.
I shake Luna awake. She stares at me for a couple minutes.
Then, my mouth is on hers.
I don't know how, or why, but I am enjoying it.
She brings her hands to my hair and tangles them into the mop of my hair.
My hands go to her waist and her hair gets tangled in my hands. My other hand moves up to the small of her back and presses against it, pushing her closer to me.
She sighs, and we get deeper into the kiss.
I think of all the times I've seen her be called "Loony Lovegood" and not stopping the fight.
She breaks apart, and sees a little look of delight on my face.
"You enjoyed that, didn't you?"
I smirk. "You know I always loved you?"
"No. Never knew that."
"Well now you do."
I kiss her once more, gentle at first. She nibbles on my lip, asking for entrance. I let her tounge slide into my mouth as mine goes into hers.
We kiss like that for a while, her blonde hair covering us like a curtain, contrasting my ginger locks.
I break apart for minute. "So, is this official?"
"I would hope so."
I grin. She grins back.
"I love you, Geo."
"And I you, Na."
We kiss for as long as we want, as long as our shattered hearts desire.

After a while, we stop. We don't go any further, it wouldn't make any sense.

Luna can't get this grin off her face. Neither can I, though.

"Did we really just kiss?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"It's just that... well... that I had a crush on you since my first year, or your third. I just can't believe, after all these years of waiting, hoping, and dreaming, it's finally a dream come true."

I smile and look down. I don't know what pushed me to this, I never used to think this way. Because when Fred liked a girl, I'd like her twin, or her sister. I never knew I could have feelings for my own sake. I could cry, but after a year of crying and mourning., I don't want to cry for a while now.

Luna gets up to pick up another strange novel she picked up at Diagon Alley. She looks at me as she walks by. Luna turns the pages carefully, as if they were precious glass, until she reaches a page sponsoring the shop.

"Look. On the ad, they say the newest potion was the love potion. This issue came out three years ago, and I kept it. I wasn't going to be selfish, but just in case, I always had it. Just in case it never worked out. I feel as if I am absorbed by you, it helped me forget about the bullying, the teasing, the "Loony" Lovegood story. I didn't want to be the weird girl, I never wanted to be that. They all thought I was some girl with her head in the clouds, no feelings at all. So they bullied me. When I was crying in a corner and you passed by, I'd hope you'd come over to me and confort me."

"Oh Luna. If you would've said something..."

"I didn't want to attract attention, as I had enough as it was. A Ravenclaw asking a Gryffindor for help? I'd be the laughingstock of the school!"

"I don't know about the past, but I'm glad this happened."

"I love you, George Weasley."

"And I love you, Luna Elizabeth Lovegood."
