Bughead: I'm In Love with You

Part 2

Jughead rushes to the hospital along with Veronica. 'No no this can't be happening!!' He thought to himself. He pushed his way through people to try to get to her. He was about to reach her when a doctor stopped him. "WAIT THATS MY FIANCÉ! LET ME SEE HER! LET ME SEE HER!" Jughead yelled with tears rolling down his face as he tried to push past. "Sir please your going to have to wait we have to get her to surgery please! Sit and wait!" The doctor told him. He gave up it was no use he wasn't going to be able to see her. He walked off to the war of room with Veronica. He sat down on one of the chairs and just waited. Veronica contacted mrs. And me cooper while he still waited and waited. Her parents arrived and waited along with him. About two hours later she still wasn't out of surgery. 'What if she!' His thoughts were interrupted as he saw Veronica sit next to him and felt her hand on her arm. "Jughead it's going to be okay. She's going to make it through this, her and the baby. Their strong. Don't worry." She said trying to comfort him the best she could. He smiled slightly at her and went back to his thoughts. Another hour past and finally a doctor walked in. "The coopers?" He asked as they all stood up including Veronica. He smiled and walked over to them. "Im afraid I have good news and bad news. The good news is shes gonna make it." He said. Jughead sighed in relief. "She just got out of surgery so she will have to stay here at least 2 night and then if she feels up to it she can go back home." The doctor explained. "What's the bad news!?"Jughead asked worried. The doctor looked at him and sighed. This wasn't good. "The baby..." Jughead gasped at those words. "What about the baby! What happened!" Alice said crying. "The baby is in critical condition and might not make it. I'm so sorry." The doctor said with a sad facial expression. Jughead couldn't believe it.  

If he had just went with her this wouldn't have happened. "Oh and she's awake and she's asking for someone named Jughead Jones." The doctor said. Without hesitation Jughead ran into her room, not caring you he had to push to get to her. He couldn't help but cry when he saw her. She had cuts all over her body and had a cast on her arm and neck. He couldn't believe this. "Juggie?" She asked. He smiled. "Yeah- yeah it's me baby." He said running to her and holding her hand. "The black- the black hood did this!" She said crying. "Yeah I know baby. And if I had been there nothing would have happened you wouldn't be here right now. This is my fault betts! I'm so sorry." He cried. Betty placed a hand on his cheek, wiping his tears away. "Don't you dare blame this on yourself Jug! This is not in any way your fault!" She said tying to sit up but wincing at the pain in her neck. "Woah easy betts!" He said concerned. "I'm okay. And the baby's okay. Right!?" She asked concerned. He didn't say anything. "Jug! The baby is okay right!" She said crying. "Betty, the baby might not make it." He said crying once more. She gasped and started to sob. "No please no!" She cried out. "I'm sorry betts." He said holding her hand once more and gently hugging her.

A couple days later Betty was released from the hospital and went home with Jug. She carefully sat on the couch. She didn't say a word in the car. She was still shaken by the news of their baby not making it. "Betty please talk to me." Jughead asked. She didn't say anything. She just sat there. "Baby please." He said holding her hands. "What am I supposed to say JUGGIE. AM I JUST SUPPOSED TO PRETEND WE DIDNT LOOSE OUR BABY HUH! AM I SUPPOSED TO PRETEND THINGS ARE NORMAL! Well Jughead THEIR NOT!" She said sobbing. He pulled her gently towards him and kissed her lips immediately calming her. "No you don't Betty. You have every right to cry and scream and yell. I'll be right here." He said hugging her. "If you want something I'll be right here to get it for you okay." He said. "As a matter of fact Jughead I do want something!" She said. "What's that?" He asked. There was a slight pause before she finally spoke. "I want to kill the black hood."

A/N: sorry that I've been sooo inactive and slacking on writing. I've been crazy busy but I'm glad to inform you guys that I will be updating way more since it's my winter break. ❤️ Please don't hate me after this chapter. I wanted something to happen that was tragic and I obviously didn't want to kill off Betty. But don't worry it will get better for them... maybe haha you'll just have to wait and see.
