Taekwoon
♗When one can get lost
in a reverie, a daydream,♗"Come with me." An icy feeling of numbness settles into Taekwoon's heart and he didn't understand why, but he followed her into the car without a word.
The night was silent---not even a single bug made so much as a sound. It was as though the world was quietly watching as the two sinners climbed into the car, afraid of missing whatever the two were about to do.
Taekwoon's eyes remain on the woman at the driver's seat. Questions flood his thoughts but he doesn't voice them, half afraid of shattering the moment of quietude---even as he felt incredibly uncomfortable with the silence.
She starts the car and the hum of the engine brings him back to the current situation, his mind racing a thousand miles. The woman doesn't even look at him as she starts driving down the road, and to Taekwoon's surprise, back towards his house.
He was confused. How did she know where he lived?
After another minute of unbearable silence, Taekwoon finally opens his mouth to speak, his voice laced with both irritation and bafflement, "Who are you?"
"The real question is, Jung Taekwoon," He didn't understand the mischievious glint in her eyes when she turns to him. He fails to catch the hidden message underneath her smirk, and she adds a thousand more questions in his mind as she murmurs, "Who are you?"
Taekwoon's nostrils flare in anger and he whips his head towards her. His usually soft voice that was now loud and furious, dances with the flames in his heart. He roars at the woman beside him, "Stop with the games! Answer my questions. Why are you following me? Who are you?"
Frustrated at her lack of response, he growls at her and demands, "Who are-?!"
But she stomps hard on the break and Taekwoon quickly cuts himself off to let out a startled gasp and steady himself by grabbing onto his seat. When he turns to look up at her, her face was already inches away from his and both of her hands were tightly gripping the sides of his jacket.
He feels the wrath radiating off of her as she speaks slowly, her words in a hiss and stands dominant against Taekwoon. "Do not speak to me like that, little boy."
There was something familiar about her visceral reaction, the way her lips twisted into a snarl and her livid eyes that burned brightly. She grins when she notices him searching her face, her teeth gritting against each other---there was something wild about her smile.
