Millie's POV
It was school again, I already didn't want to go back but I wanted to see Finn
I threw on a jacket that had the number eleven on the front, plain black leggings, and white vans on
I was ready to leave then I was stopped by my mom
"Hey honey" she said
"Yeah mom"
"Look I know you have been spending a lot of time with that-"
"Look if you are about to say Finn Wolfhard, he is NOT a bad guy and also if your gonna say stop spending time with him well get this through your head IM NOT GOING TOO" I never talked back to my mom, I was freighted
"Oh-ok Sorry" she said
"Look I'm sorry mom but he's just a friend"

I was walking to school again, walking through the bad part of town but I was walking through Sadie's cop-de-sac which also had Finn in too
I saw Finn walk there too and he had his head phones in
I was going to jump scare him but I heard one of my fav songs playing. "Bad at love" by Halsey, I love that song because one thing that whole song is true except the guy part and the girl part
I tried to mess with him
I texted him
"Hey walking to school again" I said
"Same" he texted back
"I like the song your listening to" I said
"Your not even here so your just lying 😂"
"Are you sure"
"Yeah I'm sure"
"Look behind you"
He turned around, and I had no idea how close I was
He kissed me
But I didn't stop him
We pulled away
My face was burning red
The kiss tasted like candy and cigarettes

To make him stop feeling bad I kissed him one more time

He paused his song took them out and looked down at the ground and smiled
But I thought he was looking at the ground

We walked through the bad part of town, still holding hands
We got there and I saw my group of friends

Then Finn let go and went to the opposite way

"What the hell you, you-" Caleb was stuttering

"Guys stop" Sadie and Gaten both said at the same time

The bell rang
My mind through the whole lesson was FINN
my heart was just pumping really fast just thinking about him
* time skip to lunch*
We met up at our usual table
Noah went to the library at this time on this day
I saw Finn sit at his usual table...alone
It killed me to STILL see him like that
"Hey guys would you mind if Finn sat here with us" I asked
They all said "Sure he can come"
I got up and went there
I tapped his shoulder
He turned and smiled
"Wanna come sit with us?" He looked at our table and looked back at me
"I said don't be afraid they wanted you to come"
I held out my hand and he took it
And we walked there
I sat in my seat and he sat on the other side
"Hey Finn" the whole group said
"Hi guys" he said back
"Look sorry that before we where sons of bitches" Gaten said
"It's ok"
The bell rang and now it was our last classes
"Ok bye you guys" they all said and me and Finn started walking to our class

Mr. Wheeler told us to reread a section of the social studies book of king Tut
Then wright down a few ways we all think he died or got murdered
"Alright kids I'm going to be sitting at my desk reading, I want this lesson to be silent and if I hear any talking, you will be moved, this part takes 3 days. So three days of silence"
We where reading the part of king Tut
I was in the middle of wrighting
Then I felt something hit my head
I saw from the front of the room Troy (the one who pinned me against the wall while the rest of the bullies where fighting Finn)
I looked at Finn
"Open it" he whispers
I open it
I was shocked to see what he said
"Your a little slut, I will take you away and kill you and your shitty ass friend. Don't you and him ever think about messing with me little whore - Troy"
My mouth dropped
"What does it say" Finn whispers again
"Hey no talking" Mr. wheeler caught Finn
I looked at Finn with my eyes filling with tears

A tear was coming down

He stood up and gave the note to Mr. Wheeler

I feel that she was really scared to even look at Troy, I was super pissed off
"Let's get back to work" I told her
She nodded
She was reading
I stared reading again

School was over FINALLY
I was walking down the field
I saw Millie's mom car
This time she wasn't walking home
