Hey guys, last chapter. I promised myself I wouldn't cry!!!!!!
"All Gods, please come to the now fixed throne room!" Zeus's voice boomed around the room. As soon as everyone was in the nor fixed throne room. "I have an announcement!" he said, "My lightning bolt has returned!" There was one person slowly clapping but everyone looked at him with shocked faces. "That's what you called us here for?" Hermes asked. "And the young hero won't be destroyed." Zeus said sadly. Ares groaned but the rest of the gods seemed content. Even Athena, who pretty much thinks I'm a sea urchin so...
They all started to go back to their business and Zeus turned to me. "Thank you Percy, for my bolt back. Since you did this for me I won't bother your mutant friends ever again. Though I don't know how I missed flying mortals before..." He walked away muttering under his breathe.
I turned to find the flock and Annabeth behind me. "Nice job, Seaweed Brain." she said and pecked me on my cheek. I grinned like an idiot and turned to the flock. "So what are you guys going to do now?" I asked and Max shrugged. "Travel, I guess, it's what we do." she grinned and Fang came up behind her and smiled slightly.
Suddenly, someone came and hugged me, not letting go. "Hey, Nudge." I smiled. "I won't ever forget you!" she said into my shirt. "I won't forget you either. We'll cross paths again, maybe." I joked. She smiled and let go of me. I took a deep breathe, since she was squeezing me a little tightly. I said goodbye to everyone else and we rode down the elevator listening to Apollo singing Dancing Queen originally by Abba. As we exited the elevator we said goodbye again. I watched them take off, waving. I must look like a nut, waving at the sky, oh well.
I grabbed Annabeth's hand and walked back towards my apartment. "Hey, how do you think I'll explain mu new powers to my mom?"
