LOL!
Okayy, before I explain, I'll give you background knowledge. So, my best friend Nick moved a couple months ago. To Elkin, which is like, 30 minutes from my town. So now we communicate through the phone. Texting, calling, whatever.
Okay, on with the unusualness!
So, I was with my friend Alexis, when Nick called me. She has been dying to talk to him since the last time he called (last week), so I let her. I leave the room for a minute to get something, an come back to hear Alexis say, "What day is it there in Elkin?" I almost died laughing! It turns out, she didn't know that Elkin was a city in our state. I corrected her, and she apologized to Nick. I was still laughing, and she was too! I'm surprised I live to tell the tale, we laughed for so long.
