Gabby's POV~

I walked back into the house shaking, tears streaming down my eyes

'Mummy what's wrong?' Maisie said I tried to smile

'Nothing I'm alright baby, go play with Lucas' she smiled and ran off. Jack looked at me and pulled me in for a hug

'What's happened?' I didn't reply just cried 'Gabby you need to tell me what happened, did he hurt you?' I shook my head

'He erm.. he got aggressive and shouted, screamed and.. and he told me to leave' I said in between cries

'You know he doesn't mean it, Gabby don't get upset, we'll help him through this and it'll be sorted before you know it' he tried calming me down but it didn't work

'He said he thinks I don't love him' he sighed

'Do you?' I looked at him

'Of course I love him, I've never loved anyone more, and I want to believe him but I don't, I don't think he's getting help'

We spoke for abit to give me some time to calm down

'Are you sure about this' Jack asked, I took a deep breath and dialled

'If I'm right then that's it, I'm done with everything' he looked down and sat on the chairs

Jacks POV~

'Hello is this Dr Johnston?' She asked

'Yes I was wondering if you had collected a phone, my husband lost it and I think he may have lost it at his appointment?' She waited for a minute

'Ah right Thankyou, he's called Andy Fowler and it's an iPhone 7' she stood in silence for a few minutes before she spoke again

'Okay Thankyou so much for your help, bye' she hung up and tears streamed down her face, I jumped up and grabbed her just before she fell to the floor

'Hes not a patient there, he lied to our faces about it which means he doesn't want help, I can't live with him anymore' I stood up and tried to calm her down, her tears had gone and she was getting angry

'Maisie!' She shouted, a few moments later she ran through the doors 'go pack some clothes and some toys baby'

'Why where are we going?' She smiled getting excited

'We're going on holiday, now quick we have to leave soon' she jumped up and ran out the room

'Gabby you don't have to do this, let him come home and you's can talk, I'm sure he just panicked' she shook her head and left me alone. I know Andy would be crushed if they leave but I couldn't tell him because I know how hurt Gabby is, maybe she needs a small time get away and things will be okay.

'Andy where are you? Call me asap'

I decided to text him and wait until after Gabby had left to make him come home. It wasn't long after Gabby came back through with two suitcases followed by Maisie

'Gabby you're forgetting so much, you can't just pack some clothes and everything be okay' before she could say anything Lily appeared behind her

'Mum where are we going?' Sam was carrying her bag behind her, putting his arms around her

'Were going away for abit, I'll explain later' she looked down at Maisie 'honey can you put your bag in mummy's car please' she nodded and walked out with her little case

'Mum what's happening?' Lily said once Maisie couldn't hear

'We have to leave, your dad won't get help and he's not safe to be around, he'll hurt one of us, we won't be gone for long but we just have to go'

'Well he's not even here, let me talk to him' she replied

'Lily me and the boys will talk to him, he'll be okay and as soon as we've spoke to him you'll be able to come back' I replied sighing, knowing I was helping break my best friends heart. Gabby grabbed hers and Lily's bag and left to put them in the car. Lily was saying goodbye to Sam.

'Jack please could you take everyone home' Gabby shouted through from outside and I began to gather the kids up and got them in my car

'Gabby are you sure about this?' She nodded and hugged me

'I have to go, I'm sure we'll be back soon' she got in the car, looked at me and drove away.
