Chapter 77: Founder's Day

Elena and Stefan are getting ready for the Founder's Day parade. Mrs. Lockwood is supervising the preparations, telling the marching band that the lineup is wrong and Matt to get on his float. Damon and Stefan are talking about Elena when she arrives, dressed as a southern belle and strongly resembling Katherine as she curtsies. They both had to take a second look at Elena because she resembles Katherine so strongly dressed up as she is now.

Giselle is getting ready for the parade when she receive a text from her brother, she told him that she was on her way she was just fixing her hair.
After Giselle sent him a text Alanna came into the room and Giselle jump surprised.

Giselle: ugh you angels gotta stop scaring me like that. Wait where's Ethan?
Alanna: my father promoted him, so now it's my turn to look out for you
Giselle: (roll eyes) oh great
Alanna: it's really hard to find you because of that necklace you're wearing
Giselle: what's so special about this necklace? (show her while still wearing it
Alanna: it protects you
Giselle: yeah I get that (roll eyes) what else does it do?
Alanna: it protect you from Supernatural creatures from finding you, it also protects you from spirits
Giselle: wait spirits, Damon and Stefan said I'm half spiritual mean I can see dead people and the only reason I can't right now is because I'm the necklace 
Alanna: yep, you can also see dead people but you can connect with the dead and be apart of their world, it's almost like you're dead, that's why it could be impossible to kill you
Giselle: So I can't be killed by a normal stake?
Alanna: nope, only a special stake
Giselle: wait you said it's impossible to find me, but how did you find me?
Alanna: you're brothers told me, I spoke with them first before coming here
Giselle: that's odd, Damon and Stefan wouldn't just invite anybody into our home
Alanna: trust me it took a lot of convincing, but apparently they would do anything to keep you safe, even if it with someone they know nothing about
Giselle: they said that?
Alanna: uh huh, come on you're brothers are waiting for you, I can teleport you there
Giselle: okay let me get my phone and bag

Giselle grabs her phone and bag and Alanna touch the top of her forehead and teleported her to where her brothers we're located.

Jeremy is also getting ready for the parade. Anna appears and he says that he feels awful and is worried about her. They talk about John and how he killed her mother. She gives him a vial of her blood, saying she is going to leave town soon and wants him to come with her. She explains how to become a vampire and the ability of vampires to shut off their emotions. He tells her that he had wanted to at one point, but he doesn't think that he can. Before he can say anything else, she leaves him.

Stefan tells Elena that John might possibly be her father because he dated Isobel as a teenager and brought her to Elena's father's office for the delivery. Elena doesn't know how to confront him about it and is worried that Jeremy wont forgive her for erasing his memories and lying to him. Stefan reassures her that he will forgive her, just to give it some time. Giselle suddenly appears in front of Stefan and they both jump surprise and Giselle almost lost her balance and glares at Alanna.

Giselle: could have just given me a warning first without just poofing me around everywhere
Alanna: (roll eyes) relax you're fine, you're safe that's all that matters (to Stefan) she's all yours
Stefan: thank you for bringing her here Alanna
Alanna: no problem, tell her to watch her sass when speaking to an angel

Stefan nods to her and Giselle rolls her eyes than the angel said to Elena who was just in shock.

Alanna: you must be Elena
Elena: yeah how did you know?
Alanna: angels knows everybody
Elena: wait angels? They're real?
Alanna: trust me honey they're a lot you don't know about beside vampires
Elena: do you know who my real father
Alanna: if you want me to tell you if John is your real father then yes he is. I know everything Elena
