Jenn and I ate a quiet breakfast on her couch. She was busy editing her videos and I was trying to reach Connor. This was not very quality time. Finally I decided I needed to call Connor. The hallway echoed the ringing noise my phone made.

"Hello?" a sleepy Connor answered.

"Con?"

"yeah that's me" he still sounded half asleep.

"Connor listen this is important."

"Ok ok I'm listening."

"No really. Ricky just called me and asked where we were. Neither of us went home last night or told the guys where we were going."

"So."

"So I just lied to Ricky and we need to get home ASAP with some Starbucks before he realizes we were lying."

"Oh shit." Finally he woke up...just kidding I heard him throw up in the back.

"Are you drunk?" I asked a little judgmentally.

"So wasted."

"Go drink some water. I'll come get you...where are you anyways?"

"Tyler's."

"Damnit." I cursed under my breath, he was pretty far. "Alright I'm on my way."

"Ok..." He sounded like he was gonna throw up again.

"Drink water." I said before I ended the call. "Jenn I really have to go I'm sorry. I'll see you later?" I kissed her on the cheek and grabbed my bag before I left. Connor had the car so I had to walk and take a train. Mostly walking, way to much walking. Tyler buzzed me into his apartment building and led me to where Connor was.

"You're a good friend." He said giggling. He patted me on the back and exited the room. Connor practically had to be dragged to the car.

"Looks like I'm driving..." The keys were hanging off Connor's belt loop. The traffic was bad. 4 minutes from destination, the GPS announced. Relief washed over me like a tsunami. We didn't have Starbucks and it was killing me. Maybe I'd come up with a reason by the time anyone asked about it. Arrive at destination on left. Ricky's car was parked in the garage and Andrea's was in front of the yard. Andrea? Why was she here so early? I really hoped she didn't say anything. Connor was basically putting all of his weight on me.

"Connor you can't look hungover, you have to look sick now ok?" He nodded his head a tried to pick up his weight a little. We went in through the garage. Kian looked at the two of us and was very confused. I made him help me get Connor up the stairs and Ricky got a bucket. Once Connor was safely in bed with pretty much everything he needed we all sat down in the kitchen.

"So what happened?" Andrea asked with a false tone in her voice.

"I, well uh I guess something was wrong with his drink because he was fine when we got there and by the time he drank halfway through he said he started getting a headache."

"Did he throw up already?" Kian was concerned.

"Yeah outside Starbucks."

"Ew." Ricky said.

"I know." Ricky went to go see how Connor was and returned with nothing but "he's okay." Kian was the only one acting normal...I mean I guess Ricky was pretty normal but he barely said anything which was unusual. We returned to what we were doing previously and occasionally checked on Connor. I sat at the kitchen table editing footage and using my social media. Boop! A direct message from Jenn popped up.

J - Hey babe where'd you run off to?

Jc - aw that's cute you're worried about me☺️

J - lol yeah but really where'd you have to go?

Jc - Ricky called and I had to go home with Connor so no one else found out.

J - Ohhhh okay. Well just checking to see if everything was ok.

Jc - Thanks babe😘

She could even make me smile through a computer screen. Ricky came into the kitchen for lunch.

"Hey." I sputtered closing my messages with Jenn.

"Hey." he muttered reluctantly.

"You wanna go get Taco Bell?" I suggested.

"Yeah sure why not?" He grabbed his keys and we headed out the door.
