Chapter 4

" I think I'm getting the hang of it," I said before falling down again. We were at the in-line-skating practice, at school.

" Pride comes before a fall my friend,"my friend said with a laugh. I gave her a death glare and then she quickly kept quiet.

" By the way did you find anyway that passes your high expectations miss," my friend asked with a smirk. Just then a familiar face skated pass me. He had dark hair with a beige skin tone and chocolate brown eyes which shone under the sun. He gave me a flirtatious smile which made my heart melt. I smiled back at him.

" Didn't that guy just pass by us for like the 3rd time?" I whispered to my friend.

" That my friend is the hottest guy in the level, he is a total player but most girls can help but to fall for him. His name is Daniel. He has a twin brother too, he is a nice dude at heart who doesn't spend half his life wooing girl. I must say you have good taste," my friend smirked. Obviously I have good taste I thought to myself.

The bell rang and school was over. All the students vacated the class room.

" Hey Jessica, you free after school? You want to head to MacDonald's?" Lisa my best friend asked. I nodded. Our gang of 5 headed to MacDonald.

" OMG!" my friend, Shamani who was with me at the in-line-skating practice said

" What???" our group asked. My friend pointed to Daniel who was french kissing another girl. I heard a scream. I realised that it came from me. I thought he liked me...........

" Jessica? Jessica?" I heard someone call my name. I woke up to find Sam starring at me. It was just a dream. I looked around and realised that I was in the hospital.

" What am I doing here ?" I asked her.

" Your at the hospital, you fell down the stairs don'y you remember?" she asked me. Images flashed through my mind. I remember crying and running out of Starbucks when I tripped over the steps and fell.  I nodded. The door opened, four guys emerged. It was none other than one direction.

" How you doing ?" the boys asked me.

" Fine," I said.

" You should be able check out today !" my friend said with a smile.

" No fence Jessica, but isn't this the second time you got into an accident in 2 days? " Louis asked with a smirk. Zayn and Harry slapped him on the arm.

" Ow what's that for? I'm just stating a fact ," he exclaimed rubbing his arm.

" Um....sorry I'm kind of accident prone .Sorry  for all the inconvenience. Is there anything I could do for you?" I asked

" Well since we will be here for a while you could give I us a personal tour ," Harry said with a cheeky grin.

" No problem ," I smiled. This had to definitely be the best repay ever. As the boys exited the room Zayn whispered to me ," Be more careful next time OK ?"

" Yes sir ," I said with a grin. He grinned back.

" I think I'm giving up liking Harry ?" Sam said when the boys were gone.

" Why ?" I asked shocked.

" I think he has a girlfriend, anyway he is not my type ," she said sadly

" Don't worry , you we'll find someone for you ," I said while embracing her in a bear hug. Its matchmaking time. Time for man hunt.

" Mum can me and Sam go to Sogurt cause I feel like eating something cold now ?" I asked

" Honey, you just got discharged this afternoon are you sure your up to it? ," she asked looking concerned. I eventually convinced her that I was feeling much better and she agreed to it in the end.

I quickly changed into jeans. I grabbed my sweater and purse and rushed out of the door. I was driving over the speed limit but I didn't really give damn cause there was no car on the road anyway.

As I predicted, I reached there first. Within a few minutes I saw Sam's car pull in. She walked in with a defeated look on her face. We left our bags at a table and proceeded to the machine. I put a generous amount of yogurt and toppings.

" That's not fair, your putting so much yogurt and toppings its going to weigh a lot and I'm paying for it ," she said with a this-is-unfair face.

" That's the point my friend ," I said with a smirk. She whacked my arm lightly. After we paid for the yogurt we went to our seats. We were in the middle of a conversation when something familiar caught my eye. OMG why is he here. Is it really him? Maybe I'm dreaming.  I was to preoccupied with him to realise that Sam was talking to me.

" Did you even hear a word I just said ?" she asked sounding rather pissed off. My was rather pale.

" What's going on? Why do you look like you have just seen a ghost?" she asked.

" He... he is behind. Cover me ," I mumbled to her. She nodded . I slowly walked to the toilet, thankfully without being seen. Once I was out of his sight I began to sprint. I didn't see that there was someone walking in front of me, we collided.

" What is your problem ?" she screamed barley even looking at me. She was examining the huge mess that was on her T-shirt.  When she finally looked at me she smirked. Wait a minute isn't she that girl who was kissing Daniel at Starbucks.

" Well, well isn't it the loony girl who slapped my boyfriend at Starbucks ," she smirked.She called Daniel  over in a girlie voice which was so annoying.

" This is my new, beautiful girlfriend ," he introduced her to us. Like I even give a damn about who his girlfriend is. They were both giggling and eyeing each other and then in the middle of no where they started kissing each other and his hands were snaking up her back.  He had absolutely no desecration. To think we actually used to date.

" Ugh get a room there are virgins around you know ," Sam said sounding disgusted.

" Still virgins what are you in first grade ?' that girl said pretending to sound super shocked. Just then a  guy passed by us.

" Their not the only virgins you know ! Not everyone wants to see you  making out with your boyfriend," the guy stated.  Thank god for random people like him that save me when I'm in this kind of situations.

The girl looked like she had been slapped in the face. Revenge is sweet.

" Let's go somewhere else," she murmured. After the girl and Daniel left. Sam and I walked toward the guy who 'slapped' the girl in the face. We introduced ourselves to him.

" Would you ladies happen to be from Crest wood High school ?" he asked.

" Well yes. Your not Brendon are you ?" I asked. No wonder he looked familiar.

" Yes I am, you aren't Sam and Jessica are you ?"  he asked. We both nodded furiously. He still remembered us.

After 10 minutes hinted for us to leave. Sam grabbed her stuff and headed for the door before us. I took that opportunity to give Brendon Sam's number. I told him that he should ask her on a date and that I was positive that she will agree to it. When he heard that he grinned. He really did like her. Stage 1 over now for stage 2 ; convincing Sam to go on the date. That shouldn't be hard. I'll just have to wait for the message to be sent in the mean time I'll just think about my new job at Gucci Fragrance.

Hey guys sorry for the late update. I really wanted to publish the next chapter but I had a lot of work to do and school just started. I'll try to update faster next time.

Anyways do you think Jessica manages to  convinces Sam to go on the date with brendon or will the plan fail. And what will Jessica's first assignment be ? Can you guess who she will be working with?
