~ The Next Day ~

As soon as I took a step into the office, I noticed Taehyung standing right in front of his desk, flipping through the pages of some book.

Oh lord

Oh lord.

Just act natural Hyerin, just act natural.

Encouraging myself that everything was going to be alright, I just casually headed towards my desk and placed my bag down.

"HYERIN!!!"

I jerked at the sound of my name being yelled by someone, only to see Taehyung literally running towards me with a rather anxious expression on his face.

Stopping right in front of me, he vigorously attacked me with a hug and squeezed the hell out of me.

"I'm really really really sorry! You can hit me, slap me, or even kill me, but just please don't hate me!" He pleadingly apologized, his embrace on me tightening even more with every word he uttered.

"T-Taehyung... I... can't... breathe..." I muttered.

He quickly let go of me, allowing me to finally catch my breath.

"Please forgive me! I promise I won't do anymore stupid things!" Taehyung continued to apologize, causing me to let out a laugh.

"Okay okay, I forgive you Tae." I said as I warmly smiled at him, receiving a big smile from him in return.

How can I stay mad at such an adorable guy like him?

"Thanks Hyerin!" Taehyung joyously shouted, his smile bursting with utter happiness and bliss as he ran back to his desk.

I couldn't help but laugh at his genuine childishness.

But wow, Jimin was actually right.

Taehyung and I made up much quicker than I thought.

"What'd I tell you?" I suddenly heard someone whisper into my ear from behind, causing me to hastily turn around in surprise.

Oh, it's just Jimin.

"Are you some kind of fortune teller or something?" I suspiciously asked while placing my hand on my waist.

"It's a gifted talent." He responded as he shrugged his shoulders, a smug look plastered on his face.

I just responded by rolling my eyes at his arrogance.

"Oh by the way, thanks for yesterday." I said.

"For the coffee?" Jimin confusedly asked as he cocked his head.

"Well, that too, but mostly for listening to me and cheering me up." I thankfully said, giving him a warm smile.

"Anything for you baby." He jokingly commented as he sent me a wink, causing me to burst into great laughter.

"Don't say things like that. It's disgusting hearing it from you." I teased, causing Jimin to gasp in offense.
