oribella couldn't tell you the first thing about family, even if she tried. when she was very young, she was abandoned by her parents on the shittiest planet in the entire galaxy.
oribella fought for everything she had- food, money, clothes, but one day she didn't have to fight anymore. when she was nine, ori met a "cute" illegally genetically mutated creature that bore the resemblance of a raccoon.
the two instantly bonded and soon enough, rocket raccoon made his visits to the shittiest planet in the entire galaxy more frequently to check in on her, making sure no one had killed her in a bar brawl.
after a three month dry spell of no visits, rocket suddenly made his appearance with more compadres than his tree friend. soon after she met his jolly band of criminals, oribella was sucked into the drama of everything and found herself associating herself with the group which would soon be known as the guardians of the galaxy.
