Chapter 38

The two weeks I was at school I went out with my friends one night each week, studied two nights each week had three shows or signings a week and a day with my family. The time flew in and it was the day before my birthday and the Friday at school.

We were all sitting in Geography at last period when Adam shouted "Miss, it's Kerry's Birthday tomorrow! I think we should sing Happy Birthday to her!"

"Good idea Adam, we've only got a few minutes left so go for it." my teacher said smiling at me as everyone started singing. God it's so awkward when people are singing Happy Birthday to you and you just sit there.

"Thanks guys." I said smiling once they had finished and the bell went. I strolled out of class talking to people who stopped me I wasn't in a hurry for once, I didn't have a show tonight.

I walked out of the side doors and towards the front gate where I was meeting Carolyn. I waited for about ten minutes, she must have already left so I started walking out of the gates, rummaging around in my bag to look for my phone, to text her and ask where she was when I walked straight into someone.

"Sorry." I said pushing my fringe out of my face then looking up at who I walked into "Niall!" I shouted jumping into my boyfriends arms.

"Hey babe, had a good day?" he asked spinning my round

"Great day." I said smiling up at him "I've missed you." I mumbled into his chest

"I've missed you too." he whispered into my hair kissing my forehead "They boys are with Carolyn in her house if your wondering." he said after a while, I just missed being in his arms.

"Okay." I smiled looking into his perfect eyes just as he leaned down to kiss me. We must have been kissing for while until I felt my phone buzz in my pocket and I pulled away from Niall, he pouted but I just smiled and answered my phone.

"Kerry get back here now or I'm putting them in a cage." Carolyn said down the phone

"The boys? We'll be back soon." I said hanging up "Come on, before you have no band mates." Niall took my hand and we started walking to Carolyn's house, it was surprisingly dry for winter. I had my jumper on on top of my uniform and my bag slung over my shoulder swaying as I walked.

"You look amazing in your uniform." Niall said as we turned into Carolyn's street

"Thanks, you look amazing all the time." I said grinning as we heard shouting coming from inside Carolyn's house. "Oh God."

Next second Louis was being pushed out the door by Carolyn, then Harry, then Zayn then Liam walked out calmly.

"What did you do?" I asked

"She's moody, we were just making something to eat." Harry shrugged

"Oh God, you were cooking?" I asked and they nodded, I ran into Carolyn's house where smoke was filling the kitchen.

"They are dead." she said opening windows and shutting the doors to the rest of the house so the smoke didn't spread. "They burnt something in the microwave and the smokes everywhere."

"I'm so sorry." I said through coughing wafting a towel in-front of me to try and get some of the smoke out for her.

"It's not your fault, come on we can't be in here. Our breathings bad enough." she said leading my out the house. We  both had mild asthma, so the smoke wasn't helping. When we got outside her front door we were both coughing and choking.

"You okay?" Niall asked coming up and patting my back gently and handing me a bottle of water.

"I'm fine." I said breathing in the fresh air "Carolyn you okay?"
