"can i please come?" andy begs from the back seat of the car, "i could be willows date." he sighs and i burn up. "andy why don't you tell mom" lauren huffs from the driver seat, "why would i do that? if i were what's the whole point of sneaking out?" andy rolls his eyes and then looks at the roof of the car. "what if she catches you?" she looks back at andy. "i can just say that i was at josh's house." he looks at her then looks at me. "fine, but if you get me in trouble i'm beating your ass" lauren smiled before starting the car and driving away.

once we got to the gym we split ways. it was me and andy-like always-and lauren was with her sister. we make our way to the bleachers and we both quickly sit down. dances or proms aren't our scenery, while it's the day of the dance we usually listen to music and play video games. i lean my head on andy's shoulder and sigh, "ands, why don't you like it when i call you andrew?" i've never called andy, andrew. the only time i did was last night and in kindergarten.

"because it makes me feel like a child," i look up at him, my head still on his shoulder. "and i don't want to feel like a child." he leans his head on mine as i look back down. "oh, okay." i mutter, my voice becoming high. i clear my throat and wrap my arms around andy's side. "i wanna go home" andy sighs and i nod, "same."

a few minutes later andy says he needs to go to the bathroom. that was 10 minutes ago. i look around and spot andy being dragged into the locker room. i quickly stand up, running towards them. i touch the door and the whole school starts shaking, then the walls and the ceiling started to call apart. i push open the door, rubbing around the corner and quickly spot andy on the floor, screaming and soaking wet. i rush over to him, bedingr down on my knees. "andy! andy!" i shake him "it's me, it's willow! andrew!" the he stops, he stops screaming and looks up at me. "i'm sorry." he breathes out.

i pull him up and quickly start running. once we got out of the door, lauren reaches us. "we have to get out of here now!" she yells as we start running towards the exit. a metal pole comes flying down and i quickly put my hands up blocking it. it never comes down. instead fire shoots from the palm of my hands. another pole comes falling and before it could hit us, lauren puts out a shield, guarding us. all of us still in shock, we run out to the car and start to drive. we start to drive away from the chaos called school.
