Harry POV
I woke up the next morning and realized that it was my 16th Birthday and the second I had woken up I screamed in agony as pain shot through my body so Ginny woke up and looked at me.
"Harry are you ok?" she asked clearly worried.
"I think so," I said and opened my eyes and Ginny gasped.
"Harry your eyes look like fire," she said and I looked in a mirror and saw that my eyes were indeed fire and then Ginny screamed just like I did and it took her about 5 minutes to come around but when she opened her eyes they were like earth.
"Ginny your eyes are like the earth," I said and she looked and nodded.
"I think we are elementals which are fire, earth, water, and air but we don't know who the other 2 are but it is generally 3 guys and a girl," Ginny said and I nodded.
"So if I'm fire and your earth we need to find the other 2," I said and she nodded.
"However I think we may not be bonded because I can feel a pull towards you and you get it with all the elementals but your pull is stronger with your mate," Ginny said so I hugged her
"It makes sense we are not bonded like that because I'm gay," I said.
"True," Ginny said and we noticed a fire color mixed with earth colored bubble wrap around us as wings appeared.
"Wow," we said together as I admired my new orange, red and yellow wings before I looked at Ginny's beautiful blue, green and red speckled with bronze wings.
"I can not believe we are elementals. We are the most powerful wizards/ witches in the world and once we find the other pair no one can match the power that the 4 of us will have, It also means no one can use any spell on us because we can counter it wandlessly and wordlessly as we will now be able to create spells and potions involving our specific elements and our mates elements." Ginny said and I nodded.
"Lets put our wings away and get dressed before we head downstairs," I suggested and Ginny nodded so we spent the next 20 minutes figuring out how to get our wings to go away and then we got dressed and headed downstairs where everyone was already.
"Happy Birthday Harry," they all said and I thanked them.
"Wait why do your eyes look like fire and why do Ginny's eyes look like earth and where are your glasses?" Hermione asked in a demanding tone.
"Inheritance," Ginny said simply.
"What?" Ron asked.
"Harry and I came into our inheritances this morning however we will be keeping this to ourselves and a few others," Ginny snapped before an owl came through and gave me a letter.
"It says to Harry and Ginny, read in private," Ginny said looking over my shoulder so we went outside to the lake and I put up a strong silencing spell around us that Hermione wouldn't be able to get through and I also charmed the paper so only Ginny and I could read it.
"Dear Harry and Ginny,
Hey Ginny, hey Babe. I have recently come into my inheritance as I just turned 16 and so has Blaise Zabini and we are elementals; I am water and Blaise is air and I believe you two maybe the other 2 we have been looking for. It is important that we remain close and connected so I was hoping the 2 of you would come to Diagon Alley and meet up at the Leaky Cauldron tomorrow at 11 am so we can discuss everything. Babe, I miss you so so much :(. Also, I would advise you take a trip to Gringotts, I will explain why tomorrow as I overheard a conversation that was awful however I won't explain in this letter just in case someone else reads it and stops you from coming. Also, Babe happy 16th birthday, hope to see you and Ginny tomorrow.
Draco Malfoy," Ginny read out loud so I quickly summoned some parchment and a quill that was an everlasting quill and wrote we would be there to Draco and that I missed him, once Ginny and I thought the letter was appropriate I gave it to Hedwig who had flown over to us.
"Take this to Draco Malfoy," I said and she hooted in reply before flying off before Ginny and I walked back into the house.
"What was the letter about?" Hermione asked grabbing the letter but she couldn't read it and she tried all the charms.
"Why can't I read it?" she asked.
"Because I charmed it so only Ginny, I and the person who wrote the letter would be able to read it because the contents of that letter are none of your business, the only people who need to know about the letter and its contents are Ginny and me," I said and Hermione looked angry.
"You don't hide things from Ron and I thought, ever only since Ginny has become your best friend," Hermione snapped.
"I am allowed to have a private life thank you very much now if you excuse me I would like to spend what is left of my birthday with Ginny," I snapped before Ginny and I went up to her room and I quickly charmed so no one could hear us and so no one could open the door or apparate in.
"I had mum bring in all your present's because I figured you wouldn't want to be opening them in front of everyone," she said and I nodded and opened all the presents when I noticed that 3 of them were charmed with spells that controlled a person, made them dumb and a loyalty charm.
"Gin, who are these 3 from?" I asked pointing to a jumper, a tie, and a watch.
"The tie is from mum and dad, the jumper is from Ron and Hermione and the watch is from Dumbledore," she replied and I was livid and hurt.
"Harry what's wrong?" she asked and I burst into tears.
"Hey what happened?" she asked wrapping her arms around me.
"They are charmed with spells that control a person, made them dumb and a loyalty charm." I sobbed.
"Oh Harry, I am so sorry," she said and wrapped her arms around me and that's how we were for the rest of the night before we went to bed.
