Hogwarts Letters, Proposals and Emotions

Harry POV 

Our discussion was interrupted by owls coming through with our Hogwarts letters and I gasped. 

"What?" Draco asked. 

"Prefect," I said. 

"Me too," Neville said.

"Same," Draco said reading his letter. 

"Me too," Blaise said. 

"But isn't it usually a girl and a boy from each house," I said confused. 

"Usually but not always," Mum said. 

"Also it doesn't have a house on it," I said.

"I'm a prefect too," Ginny and Luna said at the same time. 

"Something big is happening if there's no house on it and 2 fourth years have been declared as prefects," Draco said and we all wondered what was going on. 

Hermione POV

Ron and I were sitting on the couch in his living room when our Hogwarts letters were dropped on our laps. 

"Babe, you are going to get Prefect, I just know it," Ron said kissing my lips. 

"There's no badge," I said opening the letter. 

"But no one else in Gryffindor is as good as you," Ron said in shock. 

"I know, but if not me then who?" I asked in shock. 

"Money is on bloody Potter," Ron said. 

"Bloody Potter," I spat. That bastard got everything he wanted because of his stupid scar. 

Harry POV 

I decided it was time to talk to Draco's parents and my mum about something that I had been wanting to do but wanted to wait until I was 16 to do it. 

"Mum, Cissa, Lucius can I have a word in private?" I asked and the 3 adults nodded so we went to Lucius's office and I whipped some privacy charms up and summoned the little box that was hidden underneath all of my belongings. 

"What's up Harry?" Mum asked. 

"I want to propose," I said and pulled the ring out of my pocket. 

"Oh my god," Narcissa cried. 

"How long have you been with Draco?" Mum asked.

"3 years today's our anniversary," I said. 

"Wow," mum said. 

"Yeah, it's been a while. I wanted your blessings Cissa and Lucius," I said. 

"Harry, of course, you have our blessings there is no one we'd rather have marry our son," Lucius said and the 3 adults hugged me,

"Thank you, today has been a big day with so many revelations and emotions and I wanted to end it on a happy note, I think I am going to retire to bed as I am quite tired and it has been a big day," I said. 

"Alright, goodnight Harry," Mum said giving me a kiss on the head before I retreated back to Draco's room and I started bawling my eyes out. 

Draco POV 

Once mum, dad and Lily came back I realised that Harry wasn't with them. 

"Wheres harry?" I asked.

"I think he's feeling a little bit overwhelmed, he's in his room said he was tired but I think he might be upset," Lily said and I nodded. 

"I'm going to check on him," I said and they nodded so I walked up the stairs and I could hear the sounds of my boyfriend sobbing and instantly I rushed to his room and opened the door to see him sobbing into a pillow. 

"Babe," I said softly after closing the door and Harry looked at me and my heart broke as I looked into his eyes and saw his pain so I placed a few spells on the door before taking my shirt off and pulling my boyfriend into my arms as he cried. 

"Why me? why is it always me people want to hurt? I get things thrown at me constantly and every time I end up hurting," he sobbed. 

"I know babe, I know, it's not fair at all. I love you, baby, you know that and I will do whatever it takes to protect you," I said. 

"I know, I'm so thankful to have you in my life," Harry said and I kissed him. 

Neville POV 

"Babe, are you ok?" Luna asked looking me in the eyes as we laid down on the bed and all I could do was break down and Luna instantly pulled me into her arms as I cried. 

"It's just a lot to process and deal with, I mean I'm 16 years old and my whole life has been a lie," I said once I calmed down a bit. 

"I know babe, I love you and I am never leaving you," Luna said giving me a kiss. 

"Even if I was to present you with this?" I asked and pulled out the box containing my mum's engagement ring. 

"W-what?" Luna asked. 

"Luna Lovegood, I love you with my entire heart and my entire soul. Will you do me the honour of becoming Luna Potter?" I asked before getting down on one knee, "Luna will you marry me?" 

"Yes, yes, a million times yes, of course, I will," she said as tears rolled down her face and I slid the ring onto her finger and gave my new fiancé a kiss. 

"I love you so much," I said. 

"I love you too, fiancé," Luna said. 

For the rest of the night we just talked little did we know that the other couples were doing the same thing we were. 

Ginny POV 

Once Blaise and I retreated to our room he kissed me. 

"I love you Ginny Zabini," he said. 

"What did you just say?" I asked. 

"Zabini, I want to change your last name," Blaise said. 

"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" I asked and Blaise got down on one knee causing me to burst into tears.

"Ginny Weasley, I love you with everything I am. Will you take my last name and be my wife? Will you marry me?" Blaise asked.

"Yes, a million times yes," I cried as he slipped the ring onto my finger and kissed me passionately. That night my fiance and I chatted and cuddled. 

Harry POV

"Thank you," I said to my boyfriend as he calmed me down. 

"Harry can I ask you something," Draco said looking at me nervously. 

"Of course," I said. 

"I Love you more than anything and I know its been a big day for you but today is our anniversary and I planned on doing this today," Draco said standing up and getting down on one knee. 

"oh my," I said 

"HArry will you marry me?" Draco asked. 

"Only if you will marry me," I said pulling out the ring box I had. 

"Oh my we had the same idea," Draco said and I nodded. 

"Yes, by the way," I said and Draco slipped the engagement ring onto my finger. 

"Draco will you marry me?" I asked. 

"Of course," he said and we kissed. 

"So um, I was wondering how you would feel if I took your last name," I said. 

"What?" Draco asked in shock. 

"Well Neville will be able to continue the potter line and you proposed first too, I want to take your name," I said. 

"Of course," he said giving me a kiss. 

"Dray want you," I said and Draco nodded as we quickly stripped and began our night of love making, little did we know this night would change our lives forever.
