Hibiki'sPOV
I was walking to school thinking of the past week. (A/N that's right, it's been a week.)
'A lot has happened lately.' I thought back to the memories, 'Akane speaking to the others.' I smiled to the thought, 'Though her volume is still really low...and come to think of it...She still doesn't talk that often..' I sweat dropped with an uneasy smile, 'When am I gonna make her talk more and louder.' I kept walking and whipped my head to fling the hair out of my face and looked towards the blue sky, 'It's going to be a hot day today.' I looked forward from behind the green shrubbery I saw the damaged, orange brick school fence. I smiled at the thought of seeing my friends, 'Wonder if they're here yet.' I pondered. Stepping through the gates and onto school grounds I was instantly surrounded by girls. 'Oh god!'
“Uhh...w-what's going on?” I asked with a nervous smile.
“Hibiki don't you know?” one said.
“What don't I know?” I asked.
“We're going to have a school competition where you run around the whole school stopping and stopping and do an activity.” A girl said.
“We have to partner up so we have a better chance of winning and it's the pair with the fastest time that wins.” another said.
“So we were wondering...” one started.
(A/N Next part imagine all of them saying it together then pausing at the same time.)
“Hibiki-Kun...can you please partner up with me.”
“Hibiki-Chan...can you please partner up with me.”
“Hibiki can...you please partner up with me.”
They all said in unison.
I sweat dropped and quickly surveyed the area and saw Akane on her own reading a book under a Sakura tree. (A/N well I ain't changing her spot, that will forever and always be her spot.) I smiled and looked to them all, “Sorry but I already have a partner in mind.” I said smiling.
I slipped past the crowd I knew they were interested in the answer and hey...so was I (A/N I know I know I know...oh wait I'm the author of course I know.) I walked to Akane and I was about to ask before she cut me off.
“No.” she said bluntly in her soft and quiet voice.
“How did-” I started.
“I know everything.” she said turning a page.
“Oh yeah? Did you know that-” I began.
“That you got your foot stuck in a locker door yes.” she said turning another page. (A/N fast reader ne (Japanese for in this sentence 'huh'))
