My Night Time World.

The First Apocalypse.

2, July, 17

I throw my head back; laughing. The girl with the browny blonde hair and space buns had said something funny that had really got to me. I looked like the crazy one in the group of nine that had gathered around the fire.

(So you've got me, to the right of me is the boy with the light brown hair and multiple coloured eyes. We'll call him Eyes. To the right of him is the one of the smallest girls in our little group. Well call her Nutter cause she's a little on the crazy side. Then to the right of her is my friend who used to have such long beautiful brown hair until she cut it, but for certain reasons we're going to call her the Brunette Rapunzel. To her right is the boy who's to good for the girl he's with/ talking to so we're going to call him Lover Boy. Then next to him is my friend from Germany, so she can be called G. The you have the tallest in our group to her right, we're call him T. Then next to him you have the girl with the scars who don't deserve em, so she can be life. Then to her right is Space buns, who's of course on my left.)

We had been eating dinner but now we are waiting for morning. It's easier to see the zombies in the morning light. Eyes had wrapped an arm round me and pulled me closer. I nuzzled my head in to his neck, giving him a little kiss as I did so. It's been safe for months now.

"I think we should start head up now." T said as he stood up, running a hand through his slightly long thick hair.

We had managed to over take a shopping centre and was using the top floor for safety.

Everybody's eyes turned to me. I nodded giving them the go ahead.
They all began moving away from the fire and heading into the building.

I let out a little sigh as I tilted my head up to the sky.

"What's on your mind buttercup?" Eyes asked as he flicked his fringe out of his eye.

"I just got a bad feeling. It's been quiet for too long." I said as I sighed again, still looking up at the sky that had a millions of stars held to it.

"Enjoy it." He simply said.

I tilted my head to look at him.  He was giving me the smile he always showed me, it was so bright and happy.

I just nodded.

"We should get to bed too." He added after a few moments of silence passed between us. Again I nodded.

He pulled me up with him before picking me up bridal style.

I giggled a little.

"Put me down." I said still giggling.

"Not a chance." He said.

We all laid in our sleeping bags. I was huddled up with Eyes in our double sleeping bag, the others were spread out on the floor in their individual sleeping bags.

I laid awake as they rested. My eyes focused on the hole in the celling that allowed me to see the stars. 

Although it was a team effort in finding this place it was my duty to help keep them safe. I couldn't do it with my real family so I took on the protective roll with this lot there was no way I was losing this family too.

I laid there for a few moments more before I heard a lot of groaning and shuffling.

I wiggled my  way out of the sleeping bag and Eyes grip as quickly as possible before grabbing a flash light and heading over to the escalator that lead up to this floor.

My heart raced as I saw over a hundred zombies getting closer to the escalator. I run back to my group my footsteps echo as my feet pounded against the floor.

"Get up, everybody get up now!" I screamed.

Eyes was the first one up and out of the sleeping bag.

"There coming quick we don't have much time!" I shouted.

Everyone was now frantically trying to get out of their sleeping bag.

I grabbed the emergency back pack as everyone throw their sleeping bags out of the way.

"Let's go down the fire exits as we planned in the exact order, lets go." I ordered.

The all listened and ran to the fire exit which was a hatch to a bunch of stairs that lead to the out of the building.

We got to the hatch G throw it open letting T go first, then Nutter, the Space buns, I moved to hold the hatch open while G, Lover boy, Life, Brunette Rapunzle and Eyes climbed down.
I had designed this plan perfectly to give the people who needed it time to get away. When we first practiced Eyes had complained but I had gotten it through to him why it had to be this way.

I throw one of the fireworks into the corner of the room before climbing down the ladders and closing the hatch with it.

We managed to escape. We kept running until we come across a few cars. We then ended up driving all night, we then found this guy in this little pub that we thought was empty. He was going all purple.

The others had gone to sleep but I stayed watch over the purple guy.

"You need to save them." He whispered.

"I intend to." I replied harshly.
He was going purple because he was dying and turning.

We heard screams and cried for help coming from the basement where everyone was sleeping. I grabbed the shot gun that was behind the bar. I ran to the basement we the horrendous screams was coming from. The room was full of zombies. Eyes put his hand out tonne but his chest was open and the zombies was feasting on it. I looked around and watched as the zombies tore them apart.
A zombie then coming running towards me.

I woke up, sweating. My sheets was on the ground beside my bed as I panted. Watcher was streaming down my face as I tried to calm myself.

"I couldn't save them, I said I would but I couldn't, I just couldn't save them. I couldn't even help them." Was the only words replaying in my head.
