The Elephant Story

Once in a beautiful village, covered with attractive flora and fauna, lived a mahout. He owned many elephants, and recently one of his she-elephants gave a birth to the baby elephant.

It didn't take many days for the baby elephant to stand on his feet. The baby elephant was quite naughty who loved to run hither and thither. So mahout tied him up on a strong pole, chained by his neck.

Poor elephant struggled to free himself, but he was proved powerless. Whenever baby elephant became naughtier than usual he landed on this naughty-corner.

Months passed, even years. Baby elephant grew stronger day by day, his eating capacity jumped from kilos to tons. His strength was enough to uproot a full grown tree. The naughty-corner, however, still remained powerful to him.

It's because although elephant became stronger; his mental conditioning or his childhood experience with the naughty-corner remained in his subconscious mind forever.

Moral of the story: Sometimes our past conditioning leaves a psychological impact on us. Even when time flies and we grew stronger through life situations. Our past conditioning, however, makes us believe we are powerless to overcome it.

Rise, stand up and fight your conditioning. Victory will embrace you.
