"o-oh, okay." I say, getting up. "Bye!" I say, waving to the nice receptionist lady.

When we leave the building, we wait for a taxi, and I ask Dan, "What happened? You don't have to tell me if you don't have to though." I say, taking his hand to warm up in this cold weather.

"He was no help at all," I start, tapping my foot. "He assumed everything, and he just needs to wake up and pay attention more. He wasn't such a good listener either." I tell Phil as the taxi pulls up and we get in.

"wanna finish talking about it when we get home?" I ask, intertwining our fingers, messing with his fingers as I lay my head down on his shoulder.

I nod as the taxi drives off. Soon enough, we're home, and back where we started, on the sofa again. I check the time. 5:07 PM. "What's for dinner?" I ask Phil.

I look up at the ceiling and think. "uhhhh, wanna just order a pizza?" I say still looking at the ceiling

"Yeah," I reply. I notice that phil is looking at the ceiling, and I look up there too. "Anything interesting up there, Phil?" I laugh.

"yeah, actually." I say, looking at the little bumps on the ceiling. "if you concentrate hard enough, you can make out little shapes in the bumps. Almost like stars. Like," I look around, then point to some off to the left of me. "those. If you use your imagination, you can see a little heart with our initials in it." I say smiling, chuckling a little.

I smile. "Phil," I giggle. "That's not our imagination. We carved that there in 2015." I laugh, resting my head on Phil's shoulder.

My eyes go wide, and it hits me, "OH YEAH!" I say, starting to laugh, "now I feel bad for forgetting about that" I say, shyly smiling, a small blush forming across my face. I look at Dan. "I'm sorry I forgot, it's been a long day." I say, chuckling

"It's okay, Phil, I still love you." I giggle, putting my arm around his shoulders.

I bury my face in his shoulder. "I love you too, but that doesn't mean I don't still feel bad" I say, my words a bit muffled by Dan and his shirt.

"Don't feel bad," I say, starting to play with his hair. "We all forget things sometimes, especially on days like these."

I wrap my arms around his waist and bury my head more in his shoulder. "Okay. I'm still a bit hesitant cause that was an important day." I say, cuddling Dan.

I think back to that day, the day we started dating. Phil wanted to carve our initials somewhere, so we used our height advantage as always and carved it next to some stain on the ceiling that was there when we got here.

I lift my head up a little so Dan could hear me better. "that was the best day of my life. I got to date the love of my life that day, and I still am. It was amazing." I smile wide, sticking out my tongue a bit

I smiled at Phil's smile, my dimples very clear. Damn, his smile was so attractive. It makes me think back to when I first saw his smile in person back in 2009. I knew we'd be together forever, friends or more than friends. At the time that we met, we both had girlfriends, but that quickly changed as they both got angry at us telling us we "never payed attention" to them.
