Dan's part: Bold
Phil's part: Italic

"You're such a child." I laugh, getting into a position to fall asleep again. I fall asleep, and nothing happens. I'm just stood in a dark room. Everything is black, and I still can't move or speak.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I see Dan is asleep, and I keep messing with his hands. "I know you're asleep and probably can't hear me, but I love you. I love you more than words, emotions, or even actions can express, and I would do anything for you, even if it meant hurting myself, I would do that for you. Because, I love you so much." I say, lightly kissing his sleeping lips.

I heard Phil, I heard all of his words. I heard all of his kind, gentle words. It made me feel better, but I still didn't know where I was in this dream, or why I was there.

I smile and lay my head back down on his shoulder, when I feel a sharp pain go through my right wrist. "Ow!" I jump, letting go of Dan's hand and grabbing my wrist. "owwww" I whine, but when I look at it, nothing's there. "wh-what?" I ask, looking at my wrist confused. But then it starts stinging again, this time worse. I wince in pain and grab my wrist again.

I hear Phil again, this time he sounds like he's in pain. The phantom must've got him, but I'm locked here in this black abyss so I can't see him or help him. I was never able to help him anyway. I don't even wake up, even though I desperately want to.

"I don't want you seeing me hurt, even if you are asleep." I quietly say, getting up and going to the kitchen to get a bag of ice for my wrist.

I feel Phil leave me, and I can finally get words out. "Phil?" I say in my dream. "Phil?" I say louder. I still can't move, but at least now I can speak.

I hear Dan start to mumble something in the lounge, and when he says it louder, I can tell it's my name. I don't even finish the bag of ice and rush into the lounge. "Dan? I'm here. And, are you sleeptalking?" I ask, chuckling a bit.

"How are you alive?" I say in my dream as I hear Phil again. "The phantom, he's got you, doesn't he?"

"The phantom? No? I just had a small pain in my wrist is all." I say, looking at it again, still nothing there. "I must've just had it in an awkward position or something." I say, looking at Dan's sleeping face.

"But you can't see it," I start. "And it hurts you at random times. And it's on your wrist. That's exactly where the phantom starts."

"R-really?" I stutter, feeling the colour drain from my face. I start to shake a bit, but take a deep breath to calm myself down. I lay my head on Dan's shoulder and sigh. "I'm sure it's nothing. What's going on in your dream anyways? I thought you said you couldn't talk in them?"

"Once you left," I quietly mumble. "I was able to talk again, somehow." I explain, and I feel the black abyss shifting. I wake up in Phil's arms as he looks up at me. "Did you really say all that? Did I really speak? Did you really hear me? Or was it just in my dream?" I ask, not sure if I sounded crazy or not.

"what're you talking about?" I ask, a confused look on my face, trying to trick him.

"How do you not know what I'm talking about?" I'm shocked, but then I see a smile spread across his face, turning into a giggle. "You're trying to trick me!" I laugh. I start tickling him, since that's always an advantage.

"N-no! S-stop!" I say, in between laughs. "Ok! Ok! I w- I was trying to trick you!" I say, laughing even harder, burying my head in Dan's chest. "n-now please s-stop! I'm v-very ti-ticklish!" I say, laughing even more.

"Obviously!" I tickle him once more, then I stop, glancing at the time. 11:39 AM. "I'm hungryyyyyy." I whine, moving my head back onto the pillow.

I lay my head on Dan's lap. "then make some foooddddd." I whine back. "but not just yet cause I just got comfy." I say, giggling.

I giggle. "What do you want me to make?" I ask, staring up at the ceiling again, finding our carving.

I smile at how sweet Dan is, "I dunno. I'm in the mood for anything really." I say, turning towards dan's stomach, messing with his shirt.

"Pancakes?" I ask, looking down at him and then messing with his hair. It's so soft, I can't resist.

"yea, that sounds good." I say, looking up at him and smiling. "I love you"

"I love you more." I giggle, still playing with his soft, black hair.

"I don't think so, Danny." I say giggling, sitting up.

"Oh yeah?" I raise one eyebrow, smiling, and then I basically attack him with a hug and a kiss.

I laugh at Dan's attempt to show me he loves me more. "Yeah!" I say, hugging him back, and attacking him with a few kisses on his cheeks, one on his nose, and ending it with a kiss on the lips.

I smile, biting my lip a tiny bit. "I'm gonna go make the food." I giggle, getting up and going to the kitchen. "Want coffee?" I ask.

I frown when he gets up, but stay in my laying position on the couch, not wanting to get up. "I was having funnnn." I whine, "but sure." I say, looking up at the carving on the ceiling

I leave the room with a smile on my face. I get to the kitchen, turn on the coffee maker, and grab to mugs from the cupboard, along with plates for the food. As I turn, closing the cupboard, I see the phantom, right in front of me. "Ahhg!" I scream, as it jumpscares me and I drop the plates.

"Dan!?" I yell, jumping up from the couch and running into the kitchen. "are you okay!?" I ask, not paying attention to the plates on the floor. "what is it?"

I stand there, shaking, staring at the spot where it was. "I-it was h-here." I manage to mumble.

I look at where he's pointing, and take his hand. "is it gone now?" I ask, concerned for him, wanting him to feel better.

I slowly nod, still staring. I'm still very shaky, but I continue to make coffee and pancakes.

"all that just happened and you're still making the food?" I ask, chuckling a bit. I come up behind Dan and hug him from behind as he makes the pancakes. "it's gone now and that's all that matters." I say, squeezing him lightly to reassure him.

I nod slowly, mixing everything together. I turn on the stove, putting the pan on the fire. It reminds me of one of the dreams for a moment, but I quickly snap out of it when Phil rests his head on my shoulder. Then it hits me. Phil is the only one who can ever save me, even when I can't save him, because it's all in my head when he gets hurt.

I stand on my tiptoes to kiss his cheek, and rest my head back on his shoulder. "it's all going to be okay." I say. Then it hits me. "You're too tall, I liked it better when I was taller than you." I giggle, feeling the warmth of Dan, never wanting to let go.

"I like being taller," I giggle, putting the pancakes onto a plate. "You're my tiny bean boyfriend." I laugh as Phil blushes.

I blush and playfully slap Dan, not knowing what to say. "W-well, you're, you blush easily!" I say, still bright red.

"I do not!" I giggle, facepalming.

"oh yeah?" I ask smirking, raising one eyebrow. I then proceed to stand on my tiptoes, and kiss him.

I feel my face instantly blush when Phil kisses me. "Goddamnit, Phil!" I laugh, grabbing our coffee and food and bringing it to the dining table so we can eat.

"told you so." I say smiling, sitting down next to Dan.
