Chapter 14

As we enter the tomb he starts to tell us about the attack and why it happened. Noct got upset but before I could say anything Cor speaks.

"He wanted you to remember him as your father. Not as the king." We all go silent. He then explains that Noct can use the power of past Kings. All he had to do was find the tombs and take their weapons. With that said Noct takes the weapon on top of the casket and it turn to crystal and start floating before shooting into my brothers chest.

I could feel the power from the weapon. Gladio grabs my hand as if he could sense the power too. Cor starts to explain to us that there is another tomb up ahead and that we should also check it out, he would lead us to it when we were ready. Without anything else to do we decide to go right then. Cor leads the way, explaining that the Impire has taken control of the area so we needed to be ready to fight.

As soon we get near the cave with the tomb in it we see the imperial forces. Everyone pulls their weapons out, and I do the same. My staff appears in my hands, the black wood was cold against my hand and the blue crystals along it glowed. Noctis starts the attack by warping to the closest soldier. I start to cast a spell of fire, sending it to the snipper who was hiding.

I soon feel something hit my stomach, it was a bullet. I groan as I send a fire ball at the soldier who shot me, before trying to find a potion to heal me. Gladio heard my groan of pain and came running over to heal me. He pours the potion on the gun shot wound and looks at me with worry all over his face.

I make a gun appear in my hand and I shoot a soldier who was aiming at Gladio from behind, "I'm fine," I say giving him a wink before starting cast another spell. He smirks and runs off to go help Noct. The fight was over in no time, my wound have healed even though I did have a few cuts from a swordsmen who came up from behind me. Gladio came over to make sure I was okay, pouring potion all over my wounds. "Gladio I am fine."

"I don't care. I need to make sure you are actually okay." I turn to look at him and take a hold of his large hands.

"Gladio, I'm okay really. I'm a big girl," I say to him. He moves a piece of my white hair out of my face and sighs. He nods and then we all head toward the cave. Cor tells us that the tomb should be inside the cave but won't come with us. We say our goodbyes and then head inside.

It was dark so the guys had to turn on their lights. I used the magic of the crystal that flowed inside my to make a small orb of light.

"I feel like something is watching us," Prompto says.

"I feel it too," I say placing a hand on my chest. Gladio puts his hand on my back.

"Let's just keep our eyes open," he says giving me a smile. I nod and we continue to walk. I sense something thick in the air.

"Daemons." I say getting ready to fight. Soon four daemons appear in front of us. Noctis warps to one and Gladio fights another. I shoot a fire ball at one of them at while at the same time Prompto shoots it. Ignis goes and attacks the last one. After a few minutes they are all dead and we continue to search the cave system.
