"Rise and shine wankers!!!" I wake up to the pleasent order of my childhood best friend, Fil Thorpe-Evans.
"Briefcase Wanker!" I hear Sam shout.
"Ooh friends!" Leo yells.
"Well that was fucking dreadful!" I laugh, finishing the refrences.
"Morning everyone!" Dani says, holding a mug of tea in his hand.
"Who didn't lock the bus last night?" He says and Sam and I make eyecontact.
"Sorry!" I hand over the keys.
"Sam why do you have your shoes on?"
"I went for a walk last night and I obviously fell straight asleep when I got back."
"I'm not stupid Sam and Mia," Leo says.
"Sam's the only stupid one, he forgot to take his shoes off. I left before him and got back before he left. I still had the keys so the bus was open. End of!" I cover up.
"Sure."
"Sam?"
"That's true, I did wonder why the bus was unlocked but I didn't have the sense to get the spare keys and lock it." Sam helps my lies.
"Fairs." Dani takes another sip of his tea and goes back to the kitchen area.

"Who's driving?" Sam asks as we get out of our bunks.
"I will!" Dani raises his hand. Somehow Sam and I are the only ones in bed, we must've been really tired last night.
"I'm gonna get dressed first, bagsy the toilet!" I tap Sam's shoulder and he nods. I go into the tiny toilet room, with the shower that doesn't work, and start to get changed. I chose out a plain white shirt, skinny jeans with rips at the knee and the in bloom hoodie that Sam gave me on the first day of the tour. I'd showered the night before in the arena showers. I apply a small bit of makeup, in a kind of natural look and open the door. I see Sam without a shirt on, sitting in his bunk, on his phone.
"Sam."
"Yeah?"
"Nothing."
"The others are in the back, sit here," he pats to the space next him. I sit down and rest my head against Sam's bare shoulder.
"How long are we going to keep hiding this?"
"I don't know."
"Why are we hiding it?"
"Fil likes me, he'd get really pissed off at us. Also it's sexier if we sneak around," I laugh, taking Sam's hand in mine and playing with his fingers.
"As soon as we arrive in Newcastle we can go to a skatepark if you want."
"Sam, you know I can't skate."
"I'll teach you," he smiles and I picture the scene in my head. It stays silence for a few minutes before Sam makes eyecontact with me and brings his face to mine. He moves his lips in sync with mine as we kiss, I feel his hand rest on my thigh. We break apart as we hear a really loud cheer.
"I won!" Leo yells from the back room, Sam moves across a bit and wipes my lipstick off his mouth. He also gets out his laptop and quickly puts the Inbetweeners on to make it look like we were just watching that. Leo opens the door and walks into the bunk area, raising his eyebrow at us.
"Watching The Inbetweeners without me....and without a shirt, Sam?" Leo raises his eyebrows more, a disappointed expression on his face.
"I promise it's not what it looks like," I say, putting my hand on my lap.
"We're nearly there!" Dani shouts as the bus slows down. Leo, Sam and I make our way into the front chilling area. We look out the window at the city of Newcastle while Dani makes countless wrong turns, accompanied by a lot ot swearing.

After Dani has found the venue, he parks the bus and we all get out.
"We're going to watch Newcastle United as there's a match on, you coming?"
"Me and Sam are gonna go to a skatepark," I say.
"Mia's not really the one for football." Sam adds.
"But she's not really the one for skating either?" Fil laughs.
"I'm gonna teach her."
"Without getting a boner from standing behind her?" I hear Leo whisper to Fil and they erupt in laughter.
"I heard that!!!" Sam yells, shoving them.
"Calm down, it's a joke!" Leo says, stepping back from Sam.

10 minutes later we're stood in a skatepark with 2 boards we hired.
"How do I start?" I ask Sam, laughing a little.
"You stand on the board, look..." Sam stands opposite me and holds my hands as I step onto the board.
"Put your first foot at the second pair of screws," he orders and I do what he tells me.

After a long time of falling off and falling out, Sam had taught me how to skate.
"I wanna try something, get on your board," Sam says. We both get on our boards and skate alongside eachother.
"Now hold my hand," I hold Sam's right hand with my left and he takes a picture.
"Look how cute," he shows me the picture as we slow down.
"Now can I take one of our feet and the boards, like an edgy one of us sitting down," we find a space under a tree and sit down, positioning our boards for the picture.
"Perfect," I grin as I get Sam's old skools into the shot. I remember the months he spent begging his parents to get him some. His feet had obviously grown and now he could afford his own.
"What are you thinking?"
"About all the memories of us when we were younger," I say, bringing Sam's face to mine and placing a kiss on his lips.
"I wish I'd have told you I liked you sooner."
"What we have now is better than it would've been then."
"I really like you, Mia."
"Sam," I bring his face to mine again. His phone rings from his pocket and we break apart so he can answer it.
"Hello."
"Are you guys coming to pizza hut?"
"Meet you in 5!" Sam says, hanging up.
"Pizza Hut."
"Kiss me once more," I mutter and Sam kisses me softly, butterflies setting off in my stomach.
"Let's go," he takes my hand and we walk to Pizza Hut, letting go as we reach the street.
