      Mercy Avery's POV

"You're dog is fine ma'am, as long as he takes the prescription for a week, he'll fell better in no time!"

"Thank you Dr. Avery, you're a blessing!"

Grinning, I respond back, "Have a good one, Margret!"

Smiling, she nods, taking her German Shepard and prescription in hand.

I reflect back on the day, a little worried what Theo will think. Even though I've only just met him I get the strange feeling he'll freak out when I go back to his house. Whenever I touched him sparks fly- literally.

Sighing, I watch as each co-worker says there goodbyes, leaving me to myself. Uncertain of what awaits me, I gather my materials and head to my car. At least I'm coming back.

This morning I received help from an older woman who gave me the address of Theo's home. Plugging the address into my GPS, I head out. The drive taking about ten minutes.

As I pull in, I'm immediately faced with total and utter chaos. At least twenty people are chaotically running around calling out for the Luna? What I really fear is Theo, storming straight at me. His eyes totally black.

Quickly maneuvering myself out of my car, his broad form is in front of me in a flash.

"Where the hell where you?!" He snarls out. Taken back by his crude words, I stand there agape.

Stuttering out my response, his eyes remain black, as he pulls me into his chest. "You had me- us- so worried. Never and I mean never go anywhere without my permission or guards."

Starstruck, I simply nod, too afraid of what my voice will come out as. Dragging me into the house he plops me down in the stool that resides in the kitchen.

His eyes slowly start returning to his normal grey color. He speaks as if he wasn't just freaking out a minute ago,

"What would you like for dinner, chéri?" (Darling.)

      "W-what?"

"I said, what would you like fo-"

"I know what you asked but not even a minute ago you were completely a freaking out and now you're calm and collected. What changed and why'd you freak out over me going back to work?"

Pinching the bridge of his nose in distress, his eyes close. "I can't really tell you know, but just promise me you'll listen to whatever I say, okay?"

I really wanted to challenge him and demand answers, but I could tell he was at his breaking point and I wasn't one for confrontation, so I simply nodded.

      "Lo mein."

Snapping his head up he questions the words that came from my mouth.

"You asked what I wanted for dinner, lo mein."

      He questions, "Chinese takeout?"

I nod in response as he sighs. Pulling out his phone he starts talking. Not even five minutes later he says it'll be here in ten.

We chat over little things as we wait for the takeout, with me giggling the whole way through.

As the takeout arrives he hands me my pint with chopsticks. Yum! Digging into the delicious soft noodle, I look up to find him staring at me with yet again black eyes. Softly shaking his head he returns to his shrimp chow mei fun.
